The Walking Man

The Asian Maradona, The Wizard of Tehran!

Recommended Posts

I know we''ve had some pretty odd suggestions of players on here recently but this bloke actually exists and is actually quite a hell of a player. He;s a winger who''s talented with eithier foot so he can replace eithier Croft or Hoolahan if he goes.

So there you go that''s my shout for oddest transfer of the summer. Come on Gunny sign him up, we''d be the most popular English thing in Iran at the moment!

Looks like he likes to walk the ball into the net...another hoolahan. Obviously a very talented player, would welcome him, but unfeasable

Yeah quality player, but I hardly think the ''Asian Maradona'' is going to play for £3k a week. Unless you can find £1.6m a year to pay him? Because that is what he is on with Qatar SC!

Please stay with us in reality!

Yeah but from the perspective of the club on which he is on loan!

"On 10 July 2008, Karimi agreed to play the remainder of his 2 year contract for Al-Sailiya worth around £4.7 million."

"On 3 July 2007, Karimi announced that he had signed a two-year deal with Qatar Sports Club. Karimi was believed to have put pen to a contract worth around £3.2 million, with a clause allowing him to return to Europe at any time."

Mate put it this way, if we cant keep hold of the half decent player Sammy Clingan, then there is no chance of signing Ali Karimi. He is Premiership quality and knows it. Why is he going to come here on 3k a week, when:-

"His future with Qatar seems in more doubt with the 2004 Asian Player of the Year receiving many offers from Saudi Arabian, UAE, Iranian and Australian clubs."

Please get real mate, we are a league one club with no money. He could got to Dubai tomorrow.

We wouldn''t sign him anyway. Just because people post players they would like to see at the club on here, it doesn''t mean Gunny is going to come on here and look at his Wikipedia profile and then fly over to Asia and sign him up, just because one person says he would be good.
