we8wba 0 Posted January 14, 2009 12months ago everyone was so negative about the talks of pulisnow 12 months down the line the vast majority are asking for similar manager but less experience than pulisget use to see no midfield if he appointed norwich fans be defender hoof
Icecream Snow 761 Posted January 14, 2009 I can''t see any manager playing hoofball in our team of garden gnomes [:P]
renegade tootsie 0 Posted January 14, 2009 I watched Watford several times in their promotion season on the TV and also when they went up and this "hoofball" thing is a myth that people are reading and perpetuating. Plus if you had watched NCFC you would know we NEED to be more direct.
12months ago everyone was so negative about the talks of pulisnow 12 months down the line the vast majority are asking for similar manager but less experience than pulisget use to see no midfield if he appointed norwich fans be defender hoof

we8wba 0 Posted January 14, 2009 i seen his side vicarage road this season, consists of long hoving ball to rasiak (target man) try get as many bodies into the box, and have long throw specialist they made no attempt to play footballhe also lined up 4-5-1 at home which is kind of poor in this league for home games when anyone can beat anyonepersonally i think he overhyped after one fluke season
Harleston Canary 0 Posted January 14, 2009 What Jay Bothroyd - is he a contender now? Haven''t liked him since he got sent off for kicking out at Svensson in the Premiership season.Oh, you mean Aidy Boothroyd.
renegade tootsie 0 Posted January 14, 2009 4-5-1 at home...again, if you had watched Norwich that is exactly what we did but we dis not make any attempt to do anything so direct as that, we passed it endlessly through and around the midfield sideways and backwards, so a bit of direct into the channels play would be great thanks.
i seen his side vicarage road this season, consists of long hoving ball to rasiak (target man) try get as many bodies into the box, and have long throw specialist they made no attempt to play footballhe also lined up 4-5-1 at home which is kind of poor in this league for home games when anyone can beat anyonepersonally i think he overhyped after one fluke season

TheCardinal 0 Posted January 14, 2009 So out of interest, we8, when you sacked your previous (Hoddle, was it?) manager, was Mick McCarthy at the top of your most wanted list?I personally would rather have Tilson; but I won''t be too disappointed if Boothroyd is the man. He''s got connections with the club, experience in this league and knows how to operate on a budget. And he''s out of work. That pretty much ticks all the boxes if you ask me. votepedro 0 Posted January 14, 2009 with malky as his no.2.bring it on!curo''s back already, hucks by saturday.we may well go down, but at least it will be our team at last and we''ll come back fighting.
Saint Canary 0 Posted January 15, 2009 I don''t understand why people want this "dream team" with Malky. Boothroyd has done at Watford exactly what we got rid of Worthington for.For me, I would like Tilson, I wanted him when we appointed Grant, when we appointed Roeder and I would like him now. we8wba 0 Posted January 15, 2009 just seen the reply - i wasnt sidestepping the question lolno, mccarthy wasnt my number 1 choice, but then he was my old mans choice. i personally wanted paul ince, although in our position of having 8 first teamers two weeks before the season we needed a man with experience
singing canary 0 Posted January 15, 2009 because boothroyd is a decent manager to work under , as ive said before my mate was in the youth team under him and has great respect from the players.
Berkshire Canary 12 Posted January 15, 2009 From what I gather Boothroyd''s style of play will be dependent on who he gets in his coaching staff, whilst he wouldn''t be my number one choice I agree that him and Malky would be worth a punt and Boothroyd would be a much better bet than Holloway, Dowie or Allen!!!! William Darby 0 Posted January 15, 2009 It''s horses for courses. If hoofball prevented us from the drop so be it. In the long term I''d expect the passing game.
