money money money

I see that for the Second season running as well as changing the regular shirts ( both home and away ) and with the promise of a further away shirt change this summer , the club are producing a "limited edition " shirt to be worn on on occasion only .

I agree that an event such as the 59 cup run should be commemorated by the club and the idea of a dinner- while expensive -  plus events at the Barnsley home match are right and proper

However for the fans to be asked once more to cough up for a shirt is a bit much in my opinion

What happens if we get drawn away to someone where we have to change anyway , defeats the object of the idea straightaway

The club needs to think about the generosity and goodwill of its fans , we should all be in favour of commemoration , but to be exploited because of it is wrong

the more money the club make from selling shirts the better, considering what a football shirt cost isnt alot really in comparrison with a normal shirt.... the more people wearing yellow and green the better ..

[/quote]I agree, there''s at least 20 t-shirts, numerous baseball caps that we have to buy too. not to mention all the women''s stuff which we have to buy and probably not even wear! It''s outrageous[:^)]

i see what you are trying to say Gary... we spend enough on the football club and havent seen anything on the pitch to indicate our money is going where it should.... so the club bring out a new shirt for us to spend our cash on... i wonder if this money will go towards a decent striker who can actaully score goals... or if it will already have been "budgeted for" and will buy a nice new stove for the kitchen...

jas :)
