gary 0 Posted October 9, 2008 I see that for the Second season running as well as changing the regular shirts ( both home and away ) and with the promise of a further away shirt change this summer , the club are producing a "limited edition " shirt to be worn on on occasion only . I agree that an event such as the 59 cup run should be commemorated by the club and the idea of a dinner- while expensive - plus events at the Barnsley home match are right and proper However for the fans to be asked once more to cough up for a shirt is a bit much in my opinion What happens if we get drawn away to someone where we have to change anyway , defeats the object of the idea straightaway The club needs to think about the generosity and goodwill of its fans , we should all be in favour of commemoration , but to be exploited because of it is wrong Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
