If memory serves, he went out on loan from WHU to Watford with a view to a permanent, then immediately broke his neck: loan cancelled. After that, I believe a statement was released suggesting he would make a total recovery, since when nothing. Anybody know what his status is? In my view, he is one of the most accomplished defenders to play at Carrow in recent years and - from conversations I have had with fans of other clubs - is one of those players who, had he had a spot of good fortune, had the natural talent to go to the very top. West Ham need to clear some bodies from their playing staff - apparently they have enough pros on their books to field 4 full teams, with subs - and we could use another defender. Lincs CR 0 Posted July 18, 2008 If think if we get Stefanovic which I think is certain now, Doherty, Shackell, Stefan and Spillane who is better than I initially judged him for, could be enough for us until maybe the January window.Will be interesting to see what Roeder does next after Stefanovic''s signing!
