Press Conference Tommorrow

Recommended Posts

My dad has today been working with a very important person within the club (someone i obviously can''t name) on business, and he informed my dad that a press conference has DEFINATELY been called for tomorrow although he couldn''t say the exact time. The press conference is expected to confirm the signing of Alan Gow, something that would make further sense as my dad asked a lady in the press department about the identity of the player, which she couldnt tell him specifically for obvious reasons, but she just said it was ''someone from the north''. This person within the club also commented on how good Hoolahan has looked in training and how lucky we are to have him, but was not very enthusiastic about Sammy Clingan calling him a ''jouneyman''. On the takeover sutuation he was not hopeful at all, because he thinks that this information has been leaked to the press and these comments were actually made last October by Cullem who is thought to be very angry. Anyway don''t shoot me if i''m wrong but lots of other people have commented on this press conference so it''s looking good!!

Why do all these posts ALWAYS come from newly joined posters who we''ve never seen on here before?

At least this sounds a bit more substantiated than the usual drivel we get from first time posters.

On the plus side, we now know how to get rid of GNG''s posts. All we have to do is make a clear reference to that which has now been banned on this board and the Mods will delete it within seconds.Question is why?  Has their exclusive been stolen?  It''s not as if by denying something happened it didn''t.

No it doesn''t, its drivel.

For the past two weeks, the guidance from the Press Office has been that any press conferences are "probably unlikely" before Thursday or Friday so you might get one.

How could it have been leaked going back from October, when Cullum was supposed to have said he''s had no contact since January. Total pile of shiite

If any of this is mildly true then there is a whole other story going on. Why would the press report on last years news? Unless ofcourse they were told it was this years news. Its a possibility that this was a shirade to attract an investor to the club - it has certainly made a noise.
