Next Seasons Team

Just thinking about what I''d like the team to look like next season. Ideally, mine would be:                                                                                                     Marshall                                                                       Bertrand     Davenport/Pearce     Taylor      Otsemobor                Huckerby (If he goes Halmosi)      Russell      Watson (Palace, although there ain''t much chance)/O'' Hara (Possible loan target from spurs?)     Chadwick/Croft                                                                                           Evans     Rasiak/Earnshaw

                                                Subs: Gilks/Arnold   Doherty/Shackell    Pattison    Chadwick/Croft      CuretonI think this team would be capable of making the play off''s. I think it''s a good, young side added with the experience of Hucks and Taylor. I think we''ll get Bertrand on loan for the season, but i think we''ll only get one centre half and i would prefer Taylor if I had to choose, with Doc or Shax coming in to the side. Halmosi would be a great signing as I said on the transfers board. I don''t think that Watson would join, as he seems to have established himself in the Palarse side since Warnock took over. If he was to go, I think it''d take about 2 or 3 million to get him, which could be the majority of out transfer budget gone on 1 player. I think O'' Hara wpuld be quality, as he''s impressed when he''s appeared in the Spurs side this year and I feel that it would be a good deal for all concerned. Chadders and Crofty would do us a good job and if we can keep hold of Ched for another year it''ll be marvellous, as we''ve sen what he can do at this level already. Rasiak is a quality player at this level and we all know what Earnie can do. The bench is basically made up of this season 1st team so we''re fine there. It would take a bit of money to do this (probably too much!), but I think we''d be a force if the side looked something like this next season.Any thoughts? Post your own teams.

I think you have your lefts and rights muddled up mate, Bertrand is right back in your team and otsemober is left back etc..... As for Rasiak, NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   lazy waste of space this year.

Oh yeah my bad!and I dunno about Rasiak, I think he''s show signs of quality. After all, he attracted premiership clubs.

Not sure I''d want to risk what will be a fair amount of cash both for the fee and wages for Taylor. Has he got over the Eduardo tackle properly? He''ll need to as he''ll get loads of stick next season.

halmosi - why would he sign for norwich? birmingham are intrested and sure a prem side would pinch him

watson - stoke & wba watching him - prem football! also would he leave palace for norwich which could be seen as sideways step or backwards step rather than a forwards step for the player

obviosuly good luck if you get them and they be cracking but realistically i cant see you signing either i must say

Yeh lots of good players there, but can''t see many of them wanting to come here.

If we can get Bertrand on a years loan  would be pleased, but if we did where would we play him when Drury is back?  But I would still love him here anyway!  Also Ched on a years loan would be great, but it all depends on Sven.

Hoolahan, is a good one, I think he is very signable, and also Roeder likes him.  If Southampton go down I think either Surman or Euel would be good.  ( I know Euel is past his best but I think he could do a good job in the Championship.)  Also the person who said Beckford from Leeds, that would be good too, but can''t see him coming.

I think that Roeder will get quite a few players from Newcastle and West Ham here and I reckon he has something up his sleeve that no one will expect.

Carr CB because we''ve got 2 great full backs and he can play there.

Fozzy RM because roeder only plays with one wide player. Admittedly you could switch fozzy with russel.
