Do you think Hucks is happier here with Norwich than any other club he has been with berfore?
A somewhat loaded question !  trying not to be trite here  , but Hucks IS a family man,  his kids are  settled  and in education here ,  he`s on a good wage , his wife would knock the sh*t out of him  if he mentioned moving .....     he`s already shown  that he`s got a mind of his own ,  yes ! he`s happy here ....[ip]

What a wonderful contradiction in one sentence!

Kathy, just because a man is controlled by his wife physically does not mean that he doesn''t retain his own thoughts.

Oh dear Kathy, you''ve opened a right can of worms here. I shall choose not to comment, the mrs knows my username! (i think that says enough anyway!)

As for the topic, i think Hucks looks on his time at Coventry with great fondness - those were probably his best playing days if only because he was in the premiership, had a great partnership going with Dion and was on the fringes of the England scene. The move to Leeds put paid to that. But i remember thinking at the time he should have been given a go with England.

He''s going through that stage of his career now that many sportsmen do where he doesn''t have too many worries, he''s got nothing to prove and he can just enjoy himself. And it''s helping him to relive some of the old days. Such as...:

You''ve got to love those Nottingham folk havent you! Would she "busta cap in his ass, yo" if he dissed her?

my one experiance of Nottingham was at the train station, a young girl got attacked on the platform, train staff were abused by local drunks. and the train to Norwich was cancelled and the next one would be 3 hours.. they then turned the lights off and left me and some poor girl who couldnt of been more than about 17 sitting in the dark with the drunks, the already injured girl from the attack just minutes earlier. and some shifty looking bloke with his hoody over his head, no doubt getting ready to blow my brains out.

jas :)
