Polar 0 Posted January 17, 2007 and why did he leave coventry? because he failed. brilliant lets bring in another failure.give grant a chance, rome wasnt built in a day and its evident that this window alone will not be enough to sort out the team
Citizen Journalist Foghorn 0 Posted January 17, 2007 He is another Worthington style manager. No Thanks, unless we start slipping closer towards relegation in which case maybe... But we don''t want to go through another work rate manager whom will love hughes and Robinson again at this vital time before seeing the light.
blahblahblah 2 Posted January 17, 2007 Even if this was the right time to look for a new manager, which it certainly isn''t, I still don''t think Adams would get the job, on the basis of his record. Cobain18 0 Posted January 17, 2007 I dont blame Grant; he''s not been here long enough and he''s got Worthington''s players; ppl have to acknowledge what a toughjob he''s got - we do not have a good team and that is not Grant''s fault at the moment

huck tastic
Bryan Hamilton could turn this around...
0 Posted January 17, 2007 Sacking Adams, sacking Grant...this is all pretty ridiculous...Championship football clubs seem to have no idea of how to pursue anything other than a botched quick-fixThe amount of sackings in this league this season has been simply absurd...to turn around a club must need some form of coherent longer term plan, more likely to be achieved by at least a degree of stability...We''ve seen the cycle over and over again...get a new man in, results improve for a short time, probably as everyone tries a bit harder to impress the new bloke, before resuming pretty much as before...oh, and the manager sacked previously as being inept, pops up 6 months later in a new job as the saviour elsewhere... And where should Coventry be in the league by rights anyway, by the way? A middling size Championship club who sold their best player at the start of the season? About 15th I''d have thought...
