blahblahblah 2 Posted September 20, 2006 Just thought I''d wish Hendo a speedy recovery. We need all the players we have, and to lose one to a nasty challenge is never good.
canary cherub 1 Posted September 20, 2006 Agreed blah. We''re still waiting to find out what''s wrong but it didn''t look good. I saw the challenge out of the corner of my eye, right on the touchline near the dugouts. It looked like a classic over the top challenge to me, made contact just below the knee. Ref completely ignored it, as he did when Flem got a smack in the mouth which drew blood, seemed like he thought Norwich players were faking it.Hendo got a reception from the Norwich fans that he''s never had before and probably never will again, as they carried the stretcher past the away end. Tom NCFC 0 Posted September 20, 2006 Same hereI hope it isn''t a bad as it looked. Michael Keane should be given some kind of punishment for that tackle (Like a jail sentence!)

JJ 0 Posted September 20, 2006 Makes me so angry that a bad challenge goes unpunished on the field. We''ve seen the same in recent weeks with Shaun Carey and Pedro Mendes (although Thatcher was punished later). Fifa are so quick to make the game PC with bookings for petty things like kicking the ball away, but the real thugs often get away with it.I hope Hendo''s injury is not too serious and that he gets well soon. LinkNR9 0 Posted September 20, 2006 I haven''t seen the challenge yet on TV - what made it so bad? Was it two-footed or very late? Please can someone describe it.
Alex Harvey-Jones 0 Posted September 20, 2006
glad to see som supprt for the lad - get well soon hendo
No matter what your personal opinion is of a player''s talents etc or lack of them, no-one wants to see a bad injury especially to a bad tackle. Agreed - good to see some support for Hendo - no one can fault the effort he puts in on the pitch. Here''s to a speedy recovery!
