Ramrod 258 Posted August 27, 2006 I don''t believe Norwich will fail to attract offers for Earnie before the end of next week. Some Prem sides are panicking i.e. Newcastle while others, like Blackburn need a goal scorer.Perhaps this fear is the real reason Mckenzie has been refused a move.In retrospect a goalscorer of Earnies calibre for 2.75 million was simply too good to turn down. It seems that a number of Worthy''s purchases are now justifying themselves and Earnie cannot have failed to impress premiership clubs with his goals to games ratio. Someone will surely take a punt on him....I expect Norwich to decline and I hope Earnie is not unsettled like Ashton was.
Rossi 0 Posted August 27, 2006 i really think that earnie will stay, would stay and be happy to stay despite offers. i think he''s found home again.
Faded Jaded Semi Plastic SOB 1,223 Posted August 27, 2006 I am a big fan of Earnie, I like the fact he plays football with a smile on his face and the fact he has got a rapport with the Norwich fans. I am sure that we would turn down any offers we receive for him unless of course somebody offered "silly money".
First Wizard 0 Posted August 27, 2006 I got laughted at for suggesting this 3 weeks ago.
YankeeCanary 0 Posted August 27, 2006 Wizard, I used to have the same situation in my house when children occupied the spaces. I would tell them what to do and they would laugh at me whereas my wife would issue the same instruction and the respect was immediate. You know the expression.....I suspect, early on, the children considered the source and treated the input with the contempt it deserved. Possibly you face the same challenges. Herb 0 Posted August 27, 2006 He''ll be here ''till January at least, longer if we''re still looking as groovy as we are so far. He''s jumped ship to a "bigger club" before only to find himself on the bench if he''s lucky. I doubt he''ll make the same mistake twice without at least giving it a go with us.
Hardhouse44 289 Posted August 27, 2006 right money and he''s gone. Thats life. All this he''s found a home stuff is a load of romantic crap. I doubt we''d let him go for less than £7m and I doubt anybody would take a gamble as big as that so stop fretting.

Ramrod 258 Posted August 27, 2006 Ask yourselves who else is around who can score goals like Earnie and look at the sort of money paid out for the likes of Jason Roberts and Emile Heskey. As for you Wiz we all know you posted this before but as usual it was a piece of doom laden melodrama as opposed to a valid question based upon plausible circumstances and that is the difference. JJ 0 Posted August 28, 2006 Can''t see it happening this week to be honest. January might be a different story depending on how we are doing.

Marty 0 Posted August 28, 2006 Earnies a funny one because he has historically always scored goals and once again he is proving that, however his finishing can look woefull ! I think he is safe at Norwich for a while and he still needs time to prove how good he really can be, i mean a good strike ratio when he is not playing that well, the future looks good. Ramrod 258 Posted August 28, 2006 Don''t know how you can be so confident, Marty. Have you any experience in keeping hold of top assets?
Official Joe 0 Posted August 28, 2006 In the interview with Lee Croft in Saturday''s matchday programme, Crofty says Earnie is living in the same hotel as him. ie Dunson Hall.
