Holding on to Earnie.

I don''t believe Norwich will fail to attract offers for Earnie before the end of next week.

Some Prem sides are panicking i.e. Newcastle while others, like Blackburn need a goal scorer.

Perhaps this fear is the real reason Mckenzie has been refused a move.

In retrospect a goalscorer of Earnies calibre for 2.75 million was simply too good to turn down. It seems that a number of Worthy''s purchases are now justifying themselves and Earnie cannot have failed to impress premiership clubs with his goals to games ratio. Someone will surely take a punt on him....I expect Norwich to decline and I hope Earnie is not unsettled like Ashton was.

i really think that earnie will stay, would stay and be happy to stay despite offers. i think he''s found home again.

I am a big fan of Earnie, I like the fact he plays football with a smile on his face and the fact he has got a rapport with the Norwich fans. I am sure that we would turn down any offers we receive for him unless of course somebody offered "silly money".

Wizard, I used to have the same situation in my house when children occupied the spaces. I would tell them what to do and they would laugh at me whereas my wife would issue the same instruction and the respect was immediate. You know the expression.....I suspect, early on, the children considered the source and treated the input with the contempt it deserved. Possibly you face the same challenges.

Earnies on a good wage ,  he`s got all  the attention he craves here , he`s a fixture  in the first team [ chagrin time Leon ? ]       we`re 2nd in the league , we`re playing well  ,  if it all doesn`t go tits up  we could be within shouting distance  of a fight to get in the prem .....

Ask yourselves who else is around who can score goals like Earnie and look at the sort of money paid out for the likes of Jason Roberts and Emile Heskey.

As for you Wiz we all know you posted this before but as usual it was a piece of doom laden melodrama as opposed to a valid question based upon plausible circumstances and that is the difference.

Earnies a funny one because he has historically always scored goals and once again he is proving that, however his finishing can look woefull ! I think he is safe at Norwich for a while and he still needs time to prove how good he really can be, i mean a good strike ratio when he is not playing that well, the future looks good.

In the interview with Lee Croft in Saturday''s matchday programme, Crofty says Earnie is living in the same hotel as him.  ie Dunson Hall.
