Honest Joe 0 Posted June 5, 2006 I think Worthy will still be good for us next year but out of curiosity would anyone have prefered Ipswich''s new manager Jim Magilton?
Northern Canary 0 Posted June 5, 2006 I cant see Magilton being very good but i dont know much about him.
Jimaldinho 0 Posted June 5, 2006 It''s definatly a gamble on Ipswich''s part but he''s unproven and can''t really be judged until he''s been given time. As Northern Canary said I cant see him being a very good choice but you never know he could turn out to be the next Adie Boothroyd...so we''ll have to wait and see. streakey 0 Posted June 5, 2006 Magiltons coach is Brian Klugg ,who with his youth team won the F.A.Youth cup.Teddy Sheringhams son plays for them, so one would expect a mixture of youth and old heads in the team. Given their financial state it would appear they will accept just to consolidate their championship place with no big risks.

DisorientatedCanary 0 Posted June 6, 2006 Charlie Sheringham has left Ipswich i believe. i think he was the cheap option for manager really, but least he knows the club inside out, we''ll see.

Carrow89 0 Posted June 6, 2006 Yep silly old Norwich, not getting promotion like Southampton and Palace. We must be the only club who has been relegated from the Premiership and not get promoted the next season.Let''s take away all funding from Worthington and hand over the job to Fleming - after a bit of a smoke screen about interviewing others beforehand. We need a Manager 0 Posted June 6, 2006 Magilton will probably make a better manager than Worthington , Mr Blobby would make a better manager than the clown that is Worthington.

Alex Harvey-Jones 0 Posted June 7, 2006 Neither thanks. It seems a lot of teams are taking gambles with appointing managers at the moment. Southgate at Middlesborough is an odd one, if it''s even allowed!
0ridgemanddMMyyyy0Falseen-USTrue 0 Posted June 7, 2006 Magilton had more enthusiasm and charisma in a two minute interview than I''ve seen in the last five years at this club know the situuattion.
