macdougalls perm 0 Posted April 22, 2006 Nice one sounds like a lovely goal. I think he is going to be great for us, also sounds like he is integral in our ability to break quickly at the moment. Keep it up, bring on the Wolves!!!!
Saint Canary 0 Posted April 22, 2006 It was a lovely finish. It''s evident though that he is not right to play in a 4-5-1 and the right partner needs to found.
Huddy 0 Posted April 22, 2006 Earny will be a legend for this club, he''s a great finisher and just needs to play in the right formation. I''ll be supried if he doesnt get 20 goals + next season.
Alex Harvey-Jones 0 Posted April 22, 2006 As i''ve said before, if Earnie doesn''t score goals for Norwich it will be beacuse we haven''t given him the right service rather than because of a lack of ability. His game is rather one dimensional but he can score and score he will if we give him the chances!!
ZLF 342 Posted April 22, 2006 7 in 14 is excellent news - what could he do when we figure out how to play to his strengths!?!Some decent midfield signings and some real tactics and next season is there for the taking*. At least we will start next season being unbeaten away from home for 4 months[:D] *but this season was there for the taking too...

Loyal fan 0 Posted April 22, 2006 macdougall''s permI hardly think that the victory is a cause for celebration. If anything, it almost guarantees the continued presence of Worthington next year. You seem reasonably coherent, you surely cannot look forward to that prospect?
Jimaldinho 0 Posted April 23, 2006 If Earnie is to score loads of goals for us next season we will need at least 3 new midfielders...a right winger, and two centre midfielders. Hughes and Robinson are just crap and should be sold, Etuhus not consistent enough and Saf is brilliant but always injured. Also i think Earnies going to need a new strike partner but not some 6 ft 7 giant who is 35.
macdougalls perm 0 Posted April 23, 2006 Loyal Fan,In my ''reasonable coherence'' [:)], no I don''t want Worthington at the helm, but I simply cannot be bothered to take a negative view of everything that is attached to the club. Things simply are not that black and white. Despite the obvious problems that we have there are positives and one of the biggest is that our £3m signing is shaping up to be a great buy rather than the disastrous waste of money that a lot of people seem to be willing him to be. And before anyone says that this isn''t the case, some of the remarks and taunts I heard emanating from around me at last Mondays game suggest that it is in the case of a lot of people. Anyway, I will repeat - well done Earny!!, good on ya fella!
