Recommended Posts

There’s two cup games in that time so it’s 22 games since bonfire night.

22 . Not 20 . If you are going to start hundreds of threads do try and get them correct.

I should have said league matches. I am however deeply sorry for upsetting you so much. I hope you can recover and enjoy the rest of your evening as I hope the the "100s" of threads I have made today don't keep you awake at night. (For those curious today I have made one single thread today)

Ron Saunders went 31 unbeaten and that was because in those days you could get away with kicking an opponent up the ****.

Calm . Breathe . Think good thoughts. You seem a little tense .
Busy day tomorrow?

Well,

I knew it was 22 because I went to each and every one.

It will get lost in the Thorup revolution if the upwards trajectory continues but we were good last season and only struggled when key players were injured. Sometimes the way last season is discussed it’s like we were in a relegation battle.

You must have missed the Leeds play-off game then which makes it 23.

Ron Saunders’ team lost two home Cup matches during the 71/72 season so 23 could be close to a club record.

For current league games only Citeh are unbeaten longer in all 4 divisions…

We are already there for overall home matches (see below). Still some way to go versus 71/2 for League Matches only.

As for those cup games in 71/2 there was Chelsea then one of the very best with Osgood scoring and was that 3-0 FA Cup defeat to Hull effectively thrown?

Is that the new Canary Companion?

Glad that record has been beaten. Football behind closed doors shouldn’t count for records. All of us who have supported all 23 games are part of the record🙃
