nevermind, neoliberalism has had it

the war they all want us to take part in

Recommended Posts

The relentless attack on the UN and UNRWA on unspecified and unpublished awuisations after Israel failed to get their case across at the ICJ is being amplified by the western media as if it is true.

For month we have heard falsehood and lies and outrageous racists statements from Israel Its president and many countries in Europe, the latest outburst against UN staff was presented without facts of evidence, because Israel said so. Israels bad tempered history against the UN and its institutions is well known and the 15-2 ICJ results against its genocidal attempts in Gaza resulted in a reaction akin to a toddler throwing his toys out of a pram, a sheer schizophrenic outburst.

Since the ICJ has asked Israel to stop all of its actions, Israel has killed over 180 Palestinians already, reneging on the clear judgement which dismissed all of its points presented. That the vast majority of the public does not get to hear about it in detail, is down to the highly paid but useless journalism that follows the western leaders who are collaberately guilty by their actions and their intent to carry on as usual.

We as the public asre asked to become a citizen army, to contemplate a return of conscriptions by scare mongering Generals who are taking the flight forward and talking up war.

Our Government and the EU appointed leaders colluded and armed those whose genocidal statements were acknowledged by the judges, their continually heard statement that Israel has the right to defend itself was equally dismissed.

The one persistent journalist, human rights campaigner and ex diplomat who slept outside the court to get access to the proceedings, remarked on the lack of attending, i.e. the zero interest, of the copy cat collaborating media.

Now days after regaining some sleep and time to write, he has finally detailed the judgement and what it means for us all. There are already moves in Californians courts to prosecute Biden for his collaborative intent and effort to supply and enable Israel in its war against Palestinian civilians. Biden is now considering to pause the supply of arms and munitions and it is to be seen whether Germany will follow suit.

Sunak and Starmer should also be held accountable for the statements they made and the support they gave, but this is dependent on whether International law survives.

What do you really care about international law anyway? A couple of days ago you were preempting the ICJ suggesting they'd be giving the green light to all sorts of atrocities if they don't judge Israel according to your own personal views.

It's not just the US and UK who have paused funding to the UNRWA. France, Germany, Japan, Canada, a long list of countries have. The UN itself has immediately sacked, not suspended, all 12 accused, suggesting the evidence that those 12 were indeed guilty of complicity in a savage act of butchery must be pretty strong.

The UN in Gaza are working with Hamas.  The UK government has suspended financial support because our money is being used to kill Jews. The UN is a corrupt anti-semitic organisation, as are most Palestinians and their supporters

I hadn't realised, but the first allegations of this go back to 2018 and were dismissed as conspiracy with the UN doing nothing.

Who would have thought that something dismissed as a "conspiracy theory" would turn out to be true? At this point people should stop using the term "conspiracy theory" and start using the term "spoiler alert". 🤣

Why on earth do you attach such unquestioning credulousness to a disgraced former diplomat who did time for contempt of court and who thought Israel was behind the Skripal poisonings?  The bloke’s an extremist nutter.

Bit of a bad feeling about this. Reminds me a little of how we 'stumbled' into WW1. Lots of linked  'alliances' and poorly understood tangential parties and unexpected events that set off a chain reaction not calculated for by somewhat complacent politicians.

Nevermind It will all be over by Christmas 😉

I do hope calmer heads prevail and not **** for tat bellicose escalation. Wars are always unpredictable and rarely go to 'plan'.

got any evidence for your scurrilous allegations? it was the UN that made it possible for Palestine to be shared, didn't turn out that well did it?

If it was known on 7th.Oct. 2023, why did Israel wait for the ICJ judgement to accuse UNRWA of collaboration? As for the accusations by those who bite the hands that fed them, the accusation that the UN is anti Semitic have come regularly, usually every time Israel had a go at Palestinians.

The whole world sees what is happening and to accuse the UN and stop funding for UNRWA, which btw. always uses local volunteers and professionals in all countries they are helping with their work and support. to stop funding it is cruel and to do it when 12 people are accused out of 35.000 is pathetic. But it will be investigated and once Israel actually comes up with evidence for this very late accusation chiming in with a 15-2 majority ICJ preliminary judgement is like a flailing child in a pram that can't get what it wants.

Western Governments have collaborated and are still in denial today, politicians such as Cameron, who did not even seek advice from Government lawyers before he made decisions to support his right wing stance, are useless puppets, not elected representatives.

I hope you are right with 'calmer heads' will prevail. Listening to Starmer, Rayner, Lammy and the backroom boys Mandelson and Blair, this will be one ruthless ride. Starmer has nothing to offer, just as reform Britain, but I'm positive that everyone will get what they deserve and vote for.

The evidence has already been presented privately presumably to protect the UN to some extent. UNRWA has made immediate sackings of 9… but allegations are actually against 130 employees, with evidence from seized computers in Gaza and even ID cards found on Hamas combattants on October 7th.

Incidentally, there were suggestions of this months back that were largely ignored, but in point of fact the release about the allegations came from UNRWA itself, not Israel.

It may be the case that the UN often sources staff locally, but the obvious security risks for doing so in Gaza is mind-bogglingly stupid.

The UN has a refugee agency. UNRWA should be scrapped in favour of the main agency taking over now that it's clear UNRWA is corrupted.

Just in case anybody would want to try and persuade their local MP to support a stop in arms trade and technology to Israel now that our complicity in these war crimes is manifest by the ICJ.

The mass rapes happened, with eye witnesses and corpses forensically examined.

Israel was not found guilty of any crimes by the ICJ on the 26th January.

Several countries have now joined in the defunding of UNRWA as it goes to military purposes and not humanitarian aid. You are one of Putin's useful idiots, I'm afraid. Please stop supporting those who wish evil on us.

The LA Times is not run by Putin, try reading it. Further your cheap jibes at me are becoming tediously boring, why don't you come up with some evidence that says the International court of justice is run by Putin. Rock the boat yourself for a change Simpleton.
