TIL 1010 5,246 Posted July 4, 2023 I dread to think who they will have as a replacement from the mainly motley pundits who have popped up in recent times to commentate on various sports although it is not confined to Sky.
keelansgrandad 6,680 Posted July 4, 2023 Its bound to be a female. They have completely lost the message at Sky. Equality and Diversity is important but most important is ability.
The Bristol Nest 597 Posted July 4, 2023 OK. I'll bite. What if the female has the ability?

As long as they can explain what's happened and give some insight I don't care if they're a man or a woman.

I hate a lot of the positive discrimination too, as it's very obvious. But you have to ask yourself how can anyone gain ability if they're not given an opportunity to grow into that role? My concern is more with losing pundits who are willing to be outspoken on certain matters so you feel that there's more personal injection going in to the broadcasts.
