Jack Flash 13 Posted July 27, 2022 https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/soccer-predictions/global-club-rankings/ Fun stuff! We're in at no. 94 and Ipswich make it at no. 412.

Branston Pickle 3,690 Posted July 27, 2022 Surely 412 can’t be right for binners - don’t they know about their glittering history/all their stars?
keelansgrandad 6,679 Posted July 27, 2022 Why not top 26?
daly 511 Posted July 27, 2022 Brighton at No. 26 and we’re down in the 90’s Remember going to their ground in the 60’s and 70’s standing on a grass mound
GodlyOtsemobor 2,405 Posted July 27, 2022 I mean top 100 in the world? I'm taking that.

Not sure I'd say that's the 26th best club in the world so I guess this rating is pretty skewed by the financial muscle of the Premier League.

Jack Flash 13 Posted July 28, 2022 Slightly more pessimistic take re Tony Bloom and Brighton - what happens when he leaves/runs out of money? And all that dosh hasn't got them any silverware, just a place in the mid to lower reaches of the EPL.

WD40 720 Posted July 28, 2022 Bit of an interesting list but one we come out fairly well. We’re the highest ranked Championship club, including 50 places higher than Burnley despite 6 consecutive season in PL. And we’re higher ranked than two PL newcomers Fulham and Forest despite.
