Mengo 852 Posted November 4, 2021 “We have been working so hard to get to this league and we are here now. We can’t disappoint people. It is our responsibility to show we can compete. “We can compete against Chelsea. We drew against Liverpool. We beat West Ham who finished in the top six. But without that spirit, we are no one.”

Must be good to be like that at whatever club you play for. There is non of that positivity coming from inside Norwich city. Its ffs grimmer than grim. Google Bot 3,929 Posted November 4, 2021 We're the underdog who knows it's place under the table. You'd think Hollywood would've made a movie about such an incredible story, our daring 90th Minute substitution to bring Rupp on when 3-0 down to Liverpool. His appearance in the 80th Minute when losing to Arsenal. Cantwell's undying love for the U23's. Placheta's heroic entry as an 88th minute change vs Leeds. Sargent's heart stopping moment in front of an open goal at Brighton. It would define modern cinema, perhaps this is what Brecht had in mind when he developed the concept of Spass?

What I'd love is to meet you in real life and you were actually a small dog capable of typing sentences. Now that would be Hollywood

Christoph Stiepermann 1,261 Posted November 4, 2021 I don't think he's that good tbh. But he's playing with belief and confidence in an effective well balanced system with lots of pacy, powerful players around him to pick out and who do a lot of the running. I don't think Brentford are that much better than us, they just have faster, more athletic players who suit this league better, likewise a faster, more intense and more effective playing style for this level and they are playing with 100% confidence. I think if we signed Canos in the summer and he was playing in our team instead of say Rashica we would probably say he's rubbish, likewise if Tzolis or Rashica signed for Brentford and played that style of football they would probably look good players and would be keeping Canos out of the team. The fact of the matter is Frank understands this league much better than Farke so he's able to get more out of his players

But he also gives it a go. There is a bit more freedom in their football.
