BBC data on survival chances

I read through that with interest.

BUT: with only twenty teams in the PL now comparisons with past statistics make less sense.

Thank you for this - very interesting.

Looking at our start and our covid disrupted pre-season, I would settle for 8 to 10 points which would give us a 53% chance.

Deviation from the mean - don't diss the stats because they are not reported properly! 😁

The PL was reduced to 20 teams in 1995 and the stats for newly promoted teams is from the last 20 seasons so they are still valid.

Quite, but I said "Less sense," and a lot of those stats are from pre-1995, as I suppose are the quotes from Shankley and Ferguson.
