lucky green trainers 0 Posted November 24, 2005 Its assumed Robbo coming in is to cover for safs going to anc in Jan,but is he off instead or even injured. Didn''t play to usualstandard on sat or tues when subbed? If robbo covers ground like holtin prime and dicko goes forward as well francis used to (apart from last few games for us) then Worthy may havehit on a winning midfield combo. Syteanric 1 Posted November 24, 2005 i dont know... id obviously like to see it all turn round.. and time will tell... With Davenport going home in a few weeks id be worried about the defence. Flemmos legs are going and shacks is still far from being fully fit. we need a centerback.jas :)
ZLF 335 Posted November 25, 2005 No. Etuhu has not looked much yet and a line up of Hux Etuhu Safri Robinson is not much better than we have seen all season. OTBC

OTBC
Why is no-one giving Etuhu a chance? Hasn''t looked much yet - in 90minutes at Carrow Road with the ball sailing over his head a lot of thetime, followed by a Millwall performance seen by very few! This from aplayer who''s hardly played this year so far. Isn''t that just a bit harsh on the lad?
Making Plans 957 Posted November 25, 2005 No doubt it''s because when everyone knew he was coming, the majority opinion on this board, but not mine I hasten to add, was that he was a damn good player and just what we needed. Oh yes, they all said, this is the start of our revival.Given that thus far he''s only going to be here for a month, or half a dozen games, how long do you suggest we give him before making judgement ?See this is the whole trouble with short loan players. Just like Lizbie, it takes them time to settle in and get to know the other players and just when they''ve done that, their loan period is up - so what is the point.I''ll tell you. It''s just another ploy to try and kid us that something is being done to improve things when in actual fact the things that really need addressing are still festering.

No. Etuhu has not looked much yet and a line up of Hux Etuhu Safri Robinson is not much better than we have seen all season. Fat Barman 0 Posted November 25, 2005 Etuhu is here for a minimum of 9 games until January. Although we''renot supposed to talk about it, it seems as if the deal could becomepermanent then.If you want to write somebody of on first viewing, fine. I prefer to give them a chance to at least learn their teammates names!
We need a Manager 0 Posted November 25, 2005 Simple answer NO , untill Nigel Worthington is removed this side will continue to be second rate hoofers . Once again much like last season most of his summer signings turn out to be not good enough to make the team , how many do we have to bring in and ship out untill he strikes it lucky again like he did with Huckerby , without that one signing Worthington would be seen for what he is , a below average manager whos only tactical idea is to keep plodding on and HOPE things get better . Although, how long has the ''Manager'' had to find his ''tootsie pegs and fallen arches?''How much longer (other than the last 5 years), would you personally give Mr Worthington control of the steering wheel? I think he and the ''couching'' ZZzzzztaff, have had a fair crack of the whip and I personally think, now is the time to say: "Toodle pip!" to the ''Three Mousekiteers" as they have had their extended attempt...Dave Williams to be promoted to 1st Team coach till the termination of the season.I think Dickson will come good though....... ;~)
Fat Barman 0 Posted November 25, 2005 I was more than happy with the first three and a half years. Even lastyear I saw as a learning curve for everyone (I was ridiculed at workfor optimistically stating we would stay up - a position I maintainedall season - yet my disappointment was postponed until Fulham, whenmany others had a gloomy 3 months predicting our demise.). From thisstandpoint, my only bad time under the current regime has been 20games. I have, like most, been upset by performances and queriedtactics and substitutions (I don''t claim they haven''t made a bit of acock-up this year!) , but I do still support the staff andplayers (who I feel are equally responsible) to turn it around. I stateelsewhere my views on possible relegation and sometimes you just haveto swallow it.Compared to the years of watching City, one season is over so quicklyand, in hindsight, not all changes are for the better. I continue togive them time - if we go down I''ll be gutted and I think then would bethe time for change. (Ducks swiftly under bar to avoid missiles!)
