So this is a pivotal week i think.

A weak team in need of some bite and experience and nastiness, the loan window closes and we need something.

Then Ipswich on the horizon..

But what do we need?

A GK would be nice but unless we can tempt Southampton to loan us Gunn til January I can''t see that happening

A Right back? One that can defend and stop crosses would be nice. A proper box to box midfielder who can defend and attack and create. A proper c.f. that can win headers and fouls and rough up the defenders.

What do we need? I suspect we will get maybe a young attacking player in but we need to build a foundation first

Farke needs to decide whether we''re playing a 433 or a 4141....the pivotal figure in this is Pukki...if he''s playing centrally as part of the midfield 4 behind rhodes , then we need a right sided attacking midfielder, not sure if marshall is the answer or if buendia can play there, what must not happen is our playing a central midfielder there like Thompson yesterday or McLean in previous games as the balance just isent there.

Rumours of a loan move for Kebano at Fulham, could he fulfill that role? ?

Been linked to winger/striker neeskens kebano from fulham by kick off magazine. They say he is ''expected'' to sign. No idea if it has any merit though.

If we can shift players out and get better in then fair enough. But I can not see that more average players is the answer.

I thought the message from management was one of satisfaction with dealings in the main window. If they now think otherwise that is a big concern.

After three transfer windows the head coach really should have a group that he can work with to implement his game plans.

He probably thinks ( or thought ) he has. They can impliment his game plan but not with a high degree of accuracy. The quetion is whether the game plan implemented even with better quality players would actually bring sucess in the Championship.
