BroadstairsR 2,273 Posted July 12, 2017 Although Scottish clubs don''t have a lot of dosh I think we should be strong and hang out for a full £1/2m and nothing less (with add-ons of course.)It''s about time we put our foot down and stopped selling our players for peanuts.Let''s hope there''s an auction for the player as well.Open yer sporrans you cheapskate Scottish rebels. BroadstairsR 2,273 Posted July 12, 2017 We probably won''t get a penny for him .... and we''ll have to pay his fare up there.

Bethnal Yellow and Green 2,424 Posted July 12, 2017 Captain Haddock,You keep saying clubs have to pay up players contracts when they sell them. This just isn''t the case.Upon a transfer the 99 times out of 100 the player and the club sign an agreement to make the previous contract, and all obligations contained within, null and void. If a player hasn''t submitted a transfer request they will be due a ''loyalty bonus'' (this is a sum of money agreed to be paid to a player across the length of their contract, and upon moving the player receives the unpaid balance in a lump sum.
