Yellow Wal 314 Posted August 20, 2017 So, now that things aren''t going so good for some people they are saying we did better with the players of last season. Here is a quick summary of those players who we moved on and how their teams fared yesterday. Those players don''t seem to have improved their fortunes elsewhere! Not a win between them!John Ruddy, started for Wolves as he has all season, but did you see Cardiff''s winner? Lost 2-1Steven Whittaker, played 90 minutes for Hibernian. Lost 3-1Graham Dorrans, booked and substituted for Rangers in a 0-0 Drew with Hearts.Sebastian Bassong, playing for no-one.Jonny Howson, played for Middlesbrough against Forest, Lost 2-1.Youssouf Mulumbu, I don''t think he is playing anywhere.Kyle Lafferty, played all match for Hearts, no goals, Drew 0-0Jacob Murphy, came on for the last 10 minutes today. Lost 1-0.Ryan Bennett has moved from our bench to Wolves'' bench. Lost 2-

Rogue Baboon 0 Posted August 20, 2017 Robbie Brady & Martin Olsson also haven''t been adequately replaced since January. We have started to see glimpses of Wildschut (although hes out of the team again), the left back situation is a joke.Dijks was good at this level, but wants too much money. Husband is clearly not at this level, but we have absolutely no cover available
nutty nigel 7,534 Posted August 20, 2017 Not sure where Alan Irvine is but Alex Neil masterminded a win.Just sayin''......
Bill 1,788 Posted August 20, 2017 Good bit of research thereand Josh is now coming into his own, so maybe it was for the best that Jacob moved onJust replyin''.....

It could also be said that Declan Rudd was part of that win even though the squad No 1, keeper for Preston didn''t play for us last season and was on the bench (again). nutty nigel 7,534 Posted August 20, 2017 Indeed Bill. This game could last forever. If 4 games is definitive then we are conceding nearly 2 goals a game more than wee Alex is.Just putting a bit of meat on the bones....
Bill 1,788 Posted August 20, 2017 The noticable thing is none of them have gone onto greater things - with Wolves and Boro being at our level.Excluding Jacob, who wasn''t what would be termen moved on.And I still think we kept the better of the twoTime will tell
Diane 500 Posted August 20, 2017
and Josh is now coming into his own, so maybe it was for the best that Jacob moved on
Have to agree with you City 1st, think Josh will make real strides this season
Bill 1,788 Posted August 20, 2017 He was making a few good strides (runs) in the gameTook his goal well from a perfect pass from Reed then had the vision to set up Oliveira for the secondHe will be the transfer target come January, for a number of clubs
Yellowfuture 71 Posted August 20, 2017 There is very little to choose between the Murphy''s, to get a very decent price for one and keep the other sounds like a good bit of business to me.
