Number 9 0 Posted January 28, 2017 Should have said, doesn''t look like Blackpool issue gonna be resolved any time soon.
nutty nigel 7,902 Posted January 28, 2017 Interesting that both clubs ownership models have been aspired to by people on here. Until they found out.....
Mello Yello 2,572 Posted January 28, 2017 Don''t recall folk on this forum wishing we were Blackpool or Blackburn? I certainly wouldn''t have been aspired to by Blackpool''s owners......Although, maybe the Jack Walker days at Blackburn.......
alex_ncfc 686 Posted January 28, 2017 Nobody on here has ever wanted or aspired to the Blackburn or Blackpool model Nutty...but then it''s a case of making up anything to defend your dear Delia isn''t it?
nutty nigel 7,902 Posted January 28, 2017 We''ll they certainly have. Blackburn were lauded for attracting investment from people who had never been in Lancs.
nutty nigel 7,902 Posted January 28, 2017 And this is the whole point Alex. As each ownership goes tits up people move seamlessly on to another. But if we''d have taken their original choice we''d be stuck with it.A comprehensive list would be interesting don''t you think? Oh and so would an apology for accusing me of making stuff up. There''s no need for it.
AJ 1,359 Posted January 28, 2017 It''s a fair warning - yes there are clubs that have done well with investment like Man City, Chelsea, Southampton, Watford - but there are so many clubs that have been ruined by investment looking at both Blackburn, Blackpool, Leeds, Aston Villa, Coventry, Bolton, Cardiff, QPR.I certainly wouldn''t want to be enduring the ride that some of those clubs have had in recent times.
