Do we have a new signing in Vadis?
Did Becchio play under AN?
No, but when he played for 10 mins in the League Cup under Adams lots of fans thought he would go on to play a bigger part (even if this was only sub appearances). We''re seeing similar here imho whereby a player gets a little token involvement to maintain squad harmony and fans ignore evidence that the manager doesn''t fancy said player.

The difference being that every time Becchio took to the pitch he looked utterly shart.Ofoe, has at least shown some glimpses of promise.

and the evidence is:

VOO has been out injured for the 9/10ths of the season.

It would take VOO around 5-6 games to get fully match fit.

There wasn''t many games left before the end of the season, which we basically had to win all of them.

We have many midfielders who were fit such as Dorrans who is a very good player to have and is probably ahead of VOO even when he is fit, let alone O''Neil being available and having the experience of going up with QPR.

Not many of our centre mids were injured when VOO was available, plus we were winning a lot - why change a winning team.

The facts are VOO wasn''t chosen to play, we don''t know AN''s reason for this, but we can guess and only guess. As a fan we cannot know, and cannot claim to know what is really going to happen to this player.

Call me cynical, but is it possible Becchio was on the bench for one game so he could collect his end of season bonus??
Mulumbu isn''t similar to Vadis. Vadis is a more attacking option and would never be played DM.
Based on what the Baggies fans said, Mulumbu isn''t a defensive midfielder, he''s more of a box to box player who drives the play forward in a Korey Smith/Crofts mould. Yacob was their defensive midfielder.

They get a bonus for reaching the heady heights of the bench?

Really want to see VOO given a chance in his best position.

Andreu has been given the opportunity to "muscle up". VOO should also be given the same opportunity to show what he can do injury free. When we signed him, we were buying a direct & robust attacking midfield player who can score goals. No has seen him play - not fully fit with a run of games, in his favoured position.

He might just be the jewel waiting to be unearthed. At the beginning of the 2012-13 season Lambert played a then untried youngster Benteke in front of Darren Bent. I know this may be a one off but you never know - playing VOO instead of the likes of Howson & Dorrans may be a defining moment. I hope we get an opportunity to see at his best.

No way can he be compared to Becchio.
