Any pubs in the city still showing games?

Recommended Posts

Thank you Mr Phantom for your wisdom. As a season ticket holder that is something I certainly could do, however tomorrow I''m "allowing" my wife to use her season ticket for the first time since October and I''m looking after our baby son.

None showed it on fri, but try the ketts tavern and the murderers. Also be careful because some pubs don''t allow children.

Hi Matt. The problem isn''t really whether the pubs show it now, it''s whether there''s a stream and a good enough one they could show.

All of the pubs that usedto show them could guarantee it every week when we were in the prem as all games were available.

Unfortunately now it''s just a case of hoping for the best and I''m afraid I don''t know of anywhere reliable enough anymore to count on it.

The Ketts used to try and show it and I always felt sorry for Kev because the stream would be awful and he would stand there for 90 minutes trying to sync up radio norfolk and everything would keep pausing. Plus it''s a food place now so wouldn''t bother.

I''m afraid it will most probably be the wireless unless you can get a stream for yourself at home.

Waveney, and wise words. Possibly the greatest oxymoron I have encountered in a while.

Most of the information given is correct. The Ketts will show NCFC games whenever possible but there has to be a feed in the first place. Unfortunately Norwich haven''t been chosen for a feed today so no-one will be able to show it nor will you be able to get it on a computer.

For information, The Ketts has changed its name to Virtuoso Craft Brewpub & Smokehouse. It now sells 25+ craft beers, ales and lagers, has its own smokehouse selling locally sourced meat in a restaurant area, as well as in the bar and will soon be brewing its own ales and craft beers on the premises. (www.virtuosonorwich.co.uk for more details).

It is however still a community football pub at heart and is definitely not ''just a food place now''! We will continue to show Norwich City whenever possible, Championship matches that affect the top of the table and Premiership matches too.

Blimey, that new name just trips of the tongue.
"The Ketts" it shall remain ... see also "The River End"
