  1. Last time I checked pregnancy was not a highly contagious disease though.... anti-vaccers were free to stay at home, but being out and about without a mask or any care for other's risk was really dangerous behavior.
  2. Oh witness tampering too? But of course they would. Standard mob boss tactics.
  3. Whatever you may think of the politics of Donald Trump, at the end of the day like every other thug he's a loser.... what say you now Rupert Murdoch, Fox News, Republicans?
  4. Mags being magnetometers i.e. metal detectors, screening the crowd attending Trump's rally Jan 06 a.m. He knew his supports had guns including AR-15's. after the rally "we are going walk down to the Capitol ...."
  5. Great video, great charity, deserves support. Looking forward to the kit being released at the Royal Norfolk Show. As it should be every year.
  6. Apparently the Capitol Police bomb squad has been called to the Jan 6th Committee room. And the US news outlets said it was today's testimony that was going to be explosive! (I'll get my coat)
  7. That's all well and good, but too many of the US States are ruled by strict Evangelicals, who not so many years past were perfectly OK to own slaves - another "leave it to the States" subject. And let's not forget that what also goes along with making abortion a felony is most of those same States remove the right to vote from felons. So by happy coincidence they can disenfranchise them too. As for the father having a say, they do. And can, and should. But it's a woman's decision based on input from her sexual partner, her doctor and if she has one, her religious leader. If you are OK with moving the decision from the Federal Government to the State Government, then you should be OK with the decision to move it to the woman. If not, you are just moving it to where you have control. As for child care. If there is an abortion there isn't any. If there is a child, well "you did the deed"
  8. What like the Green Bay Packers? Not sure how the EFL would feel about helmets, but maybe it could be argued that it’s a safety thing.
  9. Doubly interesting .. I wonder what's up / who's going to spill some beans?
  10. And as for the rational for being "pro-life" but in practice only for the unborn, here's an interesting perspective.
  11. Republicans may be wishing that this particular "dog chases car" issue didn't actually mean the dog caught the car.
  12. Exactly so, and it’s the same reason why the UK has headed where it has, and why “I bother” to post about the US. We have a common destiny, those in power are determined to use every trick, short cut or method to retain it, and their path to ultimate control lies in large part on picking on victims their supporters can feel good about oppressing. For Hitler it was the Jews but first it was the mentally ill and the deformed. A pure race was needed for global domination to make up for the humiliation of losing WW1. So here we are again …. all out in the open, with history to warn and guide us what we must do.
  13. Now if we could only transfer just a little bit of that magic to the England football team…..
  14. Memo to two coup plotters, and Rupert Murdoch - sometimes it's better to stop digging that hole that you are standing in. And Tucker that sounded like a threat. I'm sure you didn't mean it that way, yes I'm sure you didn't.
  15. Precisely, there's room for a dedicated platform outside the ground if there is a desire to eliminate football traffic from the main station, and room east of the ground for additional development - like an indoor multi-purpose stadium for concerts and other sports. Definitely keep the Carrow Rd location, add an extra bridge over the Wensum for additional access if needs be. The Milwaukee billionaire could easily afford all of that.
  16. Meanwhile ... more oops. Johnson was one of 8 Republican Senators who visited Moscow on July 4th a few years back for a meeting with Putin. I think we are going to find a lot more linkage to Putin and Russian kompromat than most could imagine in the coming months. As for Fox, oh dear, how sad, never mind. Rupert's comeuppance been a long time coming.
  17. I can only assume that from the DOJ's perspective they are working their way up the chain of command, and any premature indictments can affect later ones, and from a political point if view the optimal timing for indictments is Sept, just before the Nov elections. Republicans who are super confident about their chances may find that sentiment has turned against them by them.
  18. Oh. Now pleading the 5th Amendment against testifying because it may lead to self-incrimination is one thing, but why would you ask for a presidential pardon? And to think Republican House Leader McCarthy tried to place Jim Jordan on this Jan 06 Committee.... and to be fair it's not yet confirmed that Jordan asked for one for himself.
  19. As long as they finally lock down the club’s primary colors yellow, green, white, black, I don’t care what the new first team kit looks like. There has been way to much faffing with color in previous years, mainly on the shirt yellow, last year on shorts green. Lock it down!
  20. As predicted, deliberate conflation of ECHR with Brexit. A qualified Attorney General would know better, but she's just another sycophant like Patel, Sunak, Raab, Dorries and Truss.
  21. Wow that was quite a session. Key takeaways ....
  22. It would seem the next couple of Jan 06 Committee sessions are going to be blockbusters ..... Congressmen giving rioters tours of the Capitol complex, a wife of a Supreme Court Justice e-mailing Trump's lawyer on how to get in front of a Supreme Court willing to overturn elections.... oh boy oh boy..
  23. Well today (Wednesday's) hearing has been postponed until tomorrow (Thursday) but here is a preview. Pretty direct accusation there from Republican Liz Cheney, no wonder her party is trying to expel her. Because the truth hurts... and many of the conspirators will one day be going to jail.
  24. To give up over 500 runs in the first inning but win the match by 5 wickets says that was a very special test match!
