1.
This is going to be a very interesting situation to watch unfold, Its like a big game of poker and cully and karsa are the chips an red face and mcnally have the cards in hand and we''ll see whos pockets these chips end up in at the end of the *pre season. I dont think mcnally will mind where they are next season. We can put them into our setup OR is villa pay into the pot they can have them and as i say i doubt very much where they end up matters to Mcnally. Its going to be great to watch this duel unfold over the coming weeks
pre season it should read DAMN edit button

3. I can see alot of this going on, The decission to hold the euros in these two countries is a joke. Theyre  very backwards countries in europe for this day and age. anyway i cant wait to watch the first two games tonight... OTBC
4.
I''m still about but I''ve been sucked into the vast forum that is twitter. My number 1 choice when Lambert jumped ship. He took over both Newcastle & Birmingham after relegation with both clubs in a deep mess. With Newcastle he got a decent group of players back on track & won the Championship before stabilizing them in the PL. With Birmingham he lost 14 senior players, the club was/is a mess financially & with no money almost won promotion, whilst performing well in Europe & playing good football. He''s an intelligent man with a good tactical brain by all accounts & likes to improve players on the training pitch. Seems like the best possible man to BUILD on what has already been achieved by Lambert. He won''t overhaul things but like Lambert would have done this summer, will bring in new players. In a way having a fresh perspective & new ideas could be a blessing.
Excellent post cott are you still on footymad?? i stopped going on once they changed the format of it, it became difficult to access on my phone? is it still a good crack on there?
5. I like to read their views and id like to know how they feel about Hughton but theyve disapeared
6.
title says it all really? can he take us to europe. I personally think he can. Next season i think will be probably the weakest premier league in its history so no reason that we couldnt get 7th. Also i think hughton will have an added incentive to get into europe via the league and fa cup as he had it with birmingham last year. i know this topic will soon be slated by people sayin we dont want to be in europe, to many games etc etc, but seriously if you sy that you need your head testing.
The weakest in years i doubt that some how i think its going to be one of the strongest in years, the 3 teams coming up are going to spend big due to there backers. Just wait for the ricky lambert s just like Grant Holt quotes all season
7. They have to of been in the top 6 this season just gone im going for for them to count (its my game so my rules [:)] ) Im going to go for 3. Last season we only managed spurs but were close to getting others
8. Wait for it....... do you need another thread for it blah blah blah the forum police will be hunting you down lol OTBC [:)]
9.

P.S your an annoying little to55er arnt you. Back to school soon make sure youve got your p.e kit ready lol  [:)]
10.
Welcome to the football club Chris. Im delighted with this appointment. Very exciting times ahead for NCFC. OTBC
HEAR HEAR he looked excited and kept talking about challenges. Does anyone know the length of his contract?? [:D]
11. Best news weve had for a few days GET INNNNN. Welcome aboard Mr Hughton
12.
Does mean we will only have Carroll and Welbeck against the French... Really not rating our chances if we concede more than one in that game.
BANG ON if England go two goals down its going to be game over FACT
13. he probably wouldnt take holt anyway after all his tantrums his heads hardly in the right place
14. If Hodgson doesnt take Holt then hes a fool whats the harm in taking an extra forward
15. Fictional poll, If say a russian millionaire offers to buy delia out and spend 50 million on players, should we  SELL or STICK as we are  i''d say stick as were almost debt free and were doing it what i consider to be the right way other may feel differently tho. So SELL or STICK
16. Id be happy with this if its true, wasnt we linked with him a few weeks ago??
17. Villa are apparently saying he was a free agent due to him resigning which i cant see somehow so it looks like the layers will be sorting this one out. So much for villa being a big club lol penny pinching tin pot tw@s
18. ''''Triffic fans'' Almost debt free Great team spirit oh and i support them [;)]
19. Hes made a good point about if England go two goals down where is the goal threat going to come from. ive done Holland or italy to rach the final both at 7-1 also a spain holland final at 14-1 another one is England to go out in the semis at 5-1
20. feel less resentful towards Lambert after watching the press confrence earlier. He was polite about us and i think he knows hes made a bad decision the chief exec was skirting round the money questions etc. Mind you id love to see villa go down this season how nice it would be to see Lambert on the football league show again for 2mins on a saturday night [:)]
21.
I don''t think we can draw any conclusion. This is typical of Lambo''s sense of humour. We will never know the reasons for him leaving but despite everything, there was a mutual respect between Lambo and Holt. Until now I was convinced he wouldn''t follow him to Villa but .....
Did you notice none of the journos laughed when he said it lol bet he felt a tit after
22. I think the transition would be easier with Cully but on the same hand Hughtons going to want to do things his way now and fair play to him for that
