2.

Capitalism, man''s greatest creation.
... and far better than the alternative that has left this country in such a mess.
Urm paul... we live and have been living in a Capitalist nation for getting on for 100 years. Its pretty amusing given that the entire banking crisis is a result of the abuse of the capitalism, what did you think we were some sort of communist state!?
Whilst I think it may be a bit far to call our current welfare system a "communist" system, the redistribution of wealth that it aims to achieve is a socialist concession of communism that can coincide within a capitalist framework.
 3.
Always makes me laugh posters slagging off archant on here - the owners of this website which we all use for free.
I would suggest that our consumption of the banner and skyscraper ads on every page account as our ''payment'' to Archant. Bar that completely agree with your post.
 4. I think C. Martin is a HUGELY under rated asset and next year he will come on leaps and bounds. He has been arrogant in the past which I think we are all aware of (with one story or another and performances), but he has always had Premier League aspirations. He is there now and I think he knows he is going to have to prove why he has been arrogant. He has nothing to hide behind now and everything to show. I wish him every success and believe he will prove himself!
 5. Ahhh nostalgia, mine however starts at premier league sticker books (as I am only 24) and me and my brother in law will be collecting this year.  Beings as I lived in Newmarket and couldn''t get radio Norfolk, I also remember sitting watching the teletext roll round with my dad so we could see how Norwich would fare.  No Pink''Un for me I''m afraid!
 6.

I thought it was ''De Lat'' !
Same! [Y]
Agreed this is how its pronounced.
 7. Obviously we have just been promoted to the top flight and players still in contract will be wanting to either stay on the fringe and hope that by any means they some how step out on premier league turf, or are taking advantage of their promotion pay rise clauses, but to me it seems the exit door from Carrow Road is firmly stuck at the moment.I find it hard to believe if any offers had come in for the likes of Johnson, Cody or even McNamee they would have been turned down. or would they? Whilst not a selling club now I know, there is still need for natural wastage. The end of contract few have left, but shouldn''t we be clearing out some other cobwebs too? What is the general thoughts on the lack of outward movement. Are we holding on to these players who for the most featured very little in the Championship, or are we struggling to marry them to potential suitors.
 8. I''d love an Alan Partridge NCFC endorsement story, that would be brilliant. OT but favorite quote:That was the Police, or as they are currently known.... Sting.
 9. It''s a debate though isn''t it? I am sure someone once said, I detest what you say, but defend to the death your right to say it.The point of the matter is, as long as it doesn''t collapse into a slanging match, this is the main point to a forum, a good debate. Raising the issue of eBay has made me think this over a little more. I would hope on the back of this that eBay members selling faked products were receiving letters and being forced to stop, however in that situation there are ten more chancers in their position ready to jump on the bandwagon. With the brewer they were easy to pin down and serve with a cease and desist and then the WhyNot brewery ran to the media. But hey, in fairness.... WhyNot (excuse the awful, awful pun) it seems to have been a prudent business move. Moreover the romantacised "poor little business, ya know, that fella that ol'' Noorich City wen'' afta!" will probably play into their hands, and good luck to them.As with the Green and Yellow sausages, other mentioned ales. canary inflatables etc.etc.etc then yes, these are once more people tapping into the NCFC bandwagon. They do, however, play the game and all relative protection is giving to the NCFC brand as not to dilute their bartering position when the big boys come a knocking.  I hope, and this is clearly not the view of many, that NCFC serve everyone with the same orders and force them out of the market. In all honesty and in hindsight I am sure that everyone must think, including the owner of WhyNot, hand on heart, that using the clubs badge was the wrong thing to do. It was obvious infringement.
 10.

What words are these? You make it sound like I said I was going to hunt down every breach of intellectual rights and/or copyrighted material associated with Norwich City.   The fact of the matter is making profit out of a product that is selling, sold or up for sale that uses the clubs material is in effect stealing. Stealing money from the bank balance of my club.  If your all for allowing third party use of our (my as you refer to it as their club, clearly asserting your allegiances not with Norwich City) clubs material, how do you propose to fill the gap made in official NCFC products or licensed products that bring in huge amounts each year? You can be as idealistic as you wish about the use of our clubs material, but I know how I''d prefer to operate the club, ensuring I still have a team to support with my children. This may have been a micro case, but you should start thinking about relating the policies outlined in this instance, to macro issues.
You''re the one trying to be idealistic. Some of us know full well this is just BS picking on the brewer when infringement of copyright has been going on for years. You''re trying to convince me, but when it comes down to it.  Are you going to snitch on those ebay sellers above?  Probably not.
I would have thought that the clubs new legal partners will be rightly issuing cease and desist letters to as many infringing parties as they can. At no point did I say it was my job to report these opportunists to the club and you can dress it up in dirty buzzwords such as "snitch" as much as you like to try and make it look like I''m the tyrant. What''s laughable is at no point did I ever say I was going to report any wrongdoings. What''s more to this argument is you can romanticize the plight of the "small time brewer" up against the "big bad corporate machine" as much as you want, the facts are quite clear. The Whynot brewery chanced their arm at making a few quid in a competitive market on the back of an existing fan base.  Money, that if the gap in the market was spotted by another brewery and went down the legitimate avenues to pursue, the club would have had a cut of.   Take your time, read my response and come back with something constructive, rather than the drivel you have been spouting off with. Deluding yourself into thinking at some point I set my mission in life to finding and reporting every piece of NCFC related copyright infringement is helping no one and clogging Archants already overworked server space.

 12. So you would happily allow the use of the crest by anyone who wanted to use it as a means of tapping into an established market to make a quick quid?  It''s not BS, it''s protecting one of the clubs most liquid assets. Your probably the one of the first to moan when we have to sell a player to balance the books.
 13.

I really cannot believe people are actually upset by this. With the clubs brand in the spotlight we have to protect our image, this includes our logo. It is one of the very few tangible and almost liquid assets we have. That or players, which would you prefer we were selling?
It''s their bloody logo apparently. They''ve made that clear. If it was ours he''d be allowed to use it.  They got the the thing for next to **** all in the first place.Protect our image my arse.
I disagree, it is our logo. However, in order to protect our interests from people misusing it and paying nothing for the honor of it. If not then we must allow McNally to act as he see''s fit.

 15. I agree, FF can only come back if Ruddy was to go..... Surely?I for one would not like to see this, Ruddy signed up to the NCFC cause when FF didn''t want to, or couldn''t come back. Whichever it was we don''t know. We needed a ''keeper and in he stepped and for all his faults or fine saves he was, quite simply, good enough to be part of a team that was the second best in that league.
 16. Was that a serious response? "Entrepreneurial invention?" What this person has done is created a beer by using an already proven method of brewing beer, changed the recipe slightly and slapped NCFC labels all over it trying to promote it to a well established market. He then furthered this by using the clubs badge with no prior consent and it''s tag line. I think it is a massive insult to the club and cannot for a minute comprehend that people think this isn''t the way for the club to behave.I have just had a wave of entrepreneurial invention. I''m going to repackage some condoms with a black case, a white swooshy logo and the tag line "Just Do It" Good bit of entrepreneurial invention in these tough economic times. Hope I make some money!
 17. Terrible song! Any band that tries to imitate the darkness (the Screechy "Guitar" at the beginning) and get it wrong, in my opinion is not onto a winner.
 18. Most of the goals left him with a lot to do, I like the look of this character, him and snoddy will make me a very happy fan.
 19. Although at this point I would like to say that it should not, if found to be the person whose account it is, this nullifies their actions and consequently punishment.
 20. Oh dear, sexist! I wonder if Archant will kick up a media hub bub about the access to and distribution of photo''s without prior consent, implied or given, from individuals after all of this.  Secondly, along the lines of the previous poster, imagine if you lost your phone. My Twitter account is directly linked to my phone through an app, anyone could post on there professing to be me.
 21. If you read the thread, you will see that I have stated it was a house party and I didn''t invite him. Friends of friends and all that jazz. However, as you so eloquently decided to raise the issue of having friends that do stupid things you can honestly tell me that you have complete control over your friends or associates actions to a point that you are sure that none of them will do something stupid in their lifetime? You honestly can say that every one you call a friend you have the utmost confidence that at no point, ever in their life they couldn''t possibly do something stupid just once?? If that is the case, I put it to you, that you have few friends.People live and die by their actions true, but it''s much easier for this to exist if someones stupid actions are hugely publicized giving the option for a potential witch hunt to ensue. I am not defending nor condoning any of these actions on either part. Just raising a point of debate.
 22.  Cheers, it is nice to see that a lot of people are annoyed with Archant and their doings. Silly really as we all use this forum a shed load and never complain all too much about it. I wonder if there were other alternatives would people use them?
 23.
"seeing the game as the players do" what, sat on a plastic seat peering through players legs, which players do that ?
Last year as a rule:Rudd, Drury, Lappin, Smith, Gill, McNamee, Hughes and Jackson.
