He has certainly turned things around for us and got the team and supporters united. I slated the board for picking him and I am more than happy to say that I was wrong. Just goes to show that I know nothing about football. Onwards and upwards OTBC!

Saturdays game will tell us much about our prospects for the rest of the season. With Howson back we should expect an attacking formation. Anything less than a convincing win will be unacceptable against a basement club!!

In a season that gives us the best chance of promotion shouls we be satisfied with things as they stand? 1) We have another inexperienced manager. 2) Most of the players perform spasmodically and are far from being Premiership quality. 3) In the transfer window we gained another Scottish player with no championship experience. It is plain for all to see that we lack a player with pace in defence yet nothing has been done. and still the happy clappers tell us that all will be well! Well in my opinion it wont. I will still renew my season ticket as I seem to be a glutton for punishment but I am far from happy.

If you are stupid enough to cheer the shambles that was last Saturday then that is your choice, but I for one am not prepared to pay good money to watch it without voicing my discontent when and how I like!

Neils team selection/formation/tactics on Saturday showed him to be the small time Scottish league manager that I feared he would be. The players put in as much effort as they normally did for Adams so it is very much same old same old. Even the playoffs are out of the question and I am supposed to console myself with the fact that the season ticket prices have been frozen at Premier League prices. This club stinks

I am not saying that I won''t support him. I am saying that its is a thoroughly underwhelming appointment. The Scottish leagues bear no resemblance to the Championship. How people can praise the wisdom of McNally in all this beats me! The only reason he has gone for him is that he is cheap!

He is the unknown and i find that far more exiting than a Warnock / Sherwood type appointment. Its ironic that you find it exiting!!

My intuition tells me that the board have once again failed to pay the going rate for a manager capable of getting us out of this league. He may do OK but it is a very big gamble in a make or break season! I am not at all surprised but still feel let down once again. Just goes to prove that if it is possible to cock thing up then our board certainly will.
