1.
The longer the arrogant tool stays there the better for us.
That arrogant tool is a large percentage of the reason why our football club is in the position it is in today. I hate these cynical Norwich opinions about Lambert. What did he do wrong? He left our club to further his career, Villa are a bigger club, in hindsight not a better squad/club but defiantly bigger. He left us for more money, who wouldn''t? He sued us for what was rightfully deserved.Whats the problem? Its a natural feeling to resent his decision and of course I laugh a little inside when Villa lose but he did nothing but good for our club and will always be held in high regard. Any understanding football fan would have the same opinion.
 2. 5) I attended the game at Anfield last year where you claimed a well-earned point, but I was also lucky enough to visit Carrow Road this season for our win. Do you have a particular memory of any previous meeting between our clubs? Say something that happened to you that day or a decision you disagreed with?I wasn''t there but I do remember a 0-1 win for us, Jeremy Goss Screamer (SHOCK) I believe it was the last game of the standing KOP.... COYY OTBC
 3. 1) Norwich were one of last seasons'' success stories. How has this season been shaping up so far, and what are your opinions on Lambert and Hughton?I remember walking out of Cravern Cottage after 70 minutes on the opening day of the season thinking how this season was going to be very long and extremely difficult. The fans were under no illusion even before the 5-0 defeat to Fulham that life after Lambert was going to be difficult. After our 2-5 home defeat to Liverpool we secured our first league win of the season beating Arsenal 1-0, it was our first league win over Arsenal in 20 years. This win saw Chris Hughton and the team go 10 unbeaten in the League. The Christmas period saw 4 defeats on the spin with tough fixtures against Chelsea and Man City. We are just over half way through the season and looking back to the opening fixture I am more than happy with how Chris Hughton has transitioned into his role, hopefully we can re group over the next couple of weeks and pick up the remaining points we need to secure safety which is still very much our main objective. 3) Who do you think is your most important player(s)?In no particular order; John Ruddy, Sebastian Bassong, Wes Hoolahan and Grant Holt9) Which Liverpool player will you fear the most?Luis Suarez, I also rate highly Raheem Sterling, feel he has a bright future both at Liverpool and for Country.
 4.
Yorkshire Canary agree with you on Ward, Lappin and to a certain extent C.Martin but believe we could easily get 1-1.5 million for Fox, he has Prem experience and was part of the team that secured automatic promotion as was Jackson. In fact I am a little sad that names like Fox and Jackson are being banded about for transfers but if these sales are to benefit the club by bringing in a names like D.Graham, Kayal and Garrido then so be it. I would much prefer to see Morison and Vaughan used as transfers to recuperate some extra money.
sorry Evesham Canary

 6. ncfcstar, do you really think Gary Hooper will leave Celtic before the end of this season with a chance of playing in the last 16 of Champs League and another SPL championship medal? The SPL title was pretty much in the bag before a ball was kicked. Hoopers value is going to be far more at the end of the season than it is in Jan. All I am saying is its a far more believable story that CH was there to watch Kayal as it was reported by the Pinkun who have closer sources to the FC.
 7. oh god, there are similarities in a lot of seasons from years gone by... the fact that we lost our number one goal keeper in 94/95 season doesn''t mean we are going to get relegated. there are many difference to 94/95 season and now, mainly our club is run by one of the best CEO''s in the business. Mike Walker went in 94/95 replaced by a young John Deehan, Lambert went and was replaced CH who has had plenty more experience. Lets concentrate on the important issues and that is if we can afford a player like Danny Graham. IMO i think it will be very doable. Not only doable but i think a great bit of business for our club.
 8. Well im sure there will be some exits this January. DM has already stated, any money on transfers goes straight back into the kitty. I think C.Martin 500k, D.Fox 1m and potentially Ward 500k will be leaving. With that the potential of S.Morison leaving for between 2-3 million gives the kitty a boost of 4-5 million. Plus im sure there was a little left over form the summer. I think he is surplus in ML opinion therefore could get him on the cheap as contract is near the end. 4.5 - 5.0 million. wages will be 20-25 k a week.
 9.
Can''t see Hooper coming here but would be an improvement over DG who, in turn, is an improvement on CMS.
Yes he is out of contract but there is no chance he is coming our way this transfer window. CH was at Paradise yesterday to watch there midfield player Beram Kayal. Its Sky Sports putting two and two together and with the aid of twitter its now become Hooper to Norwich. Danny Graham imo would be a much more realistic target for us to get excited about, tried and tested at this level, good age and gets a long with a lot of our players.
 10.
Some "Sidney" is adamant that Wellbeck will be joining us on loan for the rest of the season.Source = Skysports transfer rumours - really reliable!!But would like a Wellbeck type player who is quick and strong, holds up the ball and can find the goal (all being with dubious certainty).Would much prefer Hernandez, but "beggars "and all that!
is this a joke?
 11.
i guess what im saying is, due to our formation, we have 1 striker space. if we get graham then who do we start? surely holt wont be stuck on the bench? if we have space for just 1 striker then lets at least try and go for someone thats a step up from holt and graham.
many have been asking for CH to mix things up and try some new tactics, I think Graham would be a very handy inclusion to our squad...          Graham    Holt               Hoolahan         Johnson    Snodgrass                  Tetty Garrido  Bassong  Turner  Whittiker              Bunn/Ruddy
 12.
He only shot twice last night... One hit a defender (nearly knocked him out I should think) and the other didn''t go that far wide... While he''s not the most accurate shooter in the squad, he''s not as bad as some make out. He knows how to keep them down now, last season nearly every shot went over the bar... But he''s hitting them wide or at defenders. Hitting them at defenders could work, knock one out, Holt picks up the ball and slots it home!
That was Pilks shot thaty knocked the defender off his feet...
 13.
As an ex-Snakepitter for about 10 years, it makes me smile when people have a go at it (the cockpit etc....). When we score up that end, where do the players run to to celebrate....?
I really think it goes down to what side they score from... Although ask Adam Drury he knows where its at!!! 14.
The Old Firm derby is about much more than football, hence the difference in the level of violence. In the minds of the idiots who get deeply involved it''s Protestant against Catholic, it''s Ireland against Northern Ireland, oppressed versus oppressors, even murder victims against murderers (and that goes both ways before anyone has a go).
Ireland vs England* you mean...
 15.

imo i would say it''s celtic/rangers, liverpool/man u, man u/man c, west ham/millwall, sunderland/newcastle, cardiff/swansea then us, then the other london club rivalries.
Don''t the 2 Sheffield teams have a pretty intense rivalry? And what about Portsmouth/Soton? And the 4 teams in and around Birmingham? Is the Norwich - (L)Ipstick rivalry more intense than those?   Just asking.   .
Mrs Muggins we will forget all about the North London derby shall we?
 16. I will be the first to admit after the Fulham and Liverpool performances I was adamant that he wasn''t good enough. I had my reservations when we signed him due to his time at Sunderland being riddled with injury he also never really repeated his excellent form he had shown at Hull.Very happy he has proved me wrong and found his feet again at this level, his partnership with Bassong looks extremely positive, and the back four look very settled and more importantly organized at the moment. A complete contrast to the ever changing back four from last season. Fingers crossed it stays settled and injury free, Whittaker was excellent again. Like Fergie said in his interview after the match if you keep clean sheets in this League you always have a chance of taking the 3 points, lets hope we see a few more clean sheets this season.Top Atmos in the Barclay Saturday love the night games at CR.MOTM - Ruddy/Pilkington
 17. hopefully his SPAG has improved since his last stint...
 18. Look I just feel playing Tetty and BJ together at home is just a very defensive option, fair enough if we are playing a Chelsea or Man City, they can break play up and try hit teams on the break, equally away from home I can understand this set up and tactic. At home against teams like Stoke, and teams we feel we can get three points of we should be looking at possession football, creating chance after chance. Playing Fox or Howson instead of BJ or Tetty is the way to do this. The results over the past couple of weeks have been great and I''m not surprised Tetty and BJ played against Stoke as they are a rugby team but I dont want us to become a defensively boring side especially when CH has the players to play attractive, passing possession football.
 19. I hope your right Yellow Pimpernel
 20.
The 2nd half was crying out for Foxy on Saturday in my opinion. We got pulled into playing Stoke''s long ball game and every time Ruddy, Barnett or Ryan Bennett got on the ball it was launched towards Holty, who agianst Shawcross and Huth inevitably lost the header and the ball came straight back at us again. I''m not criticising any of our players, especially Johnson and Tettey who I thought were excellent defensively, but there was no one wanting the ball and making us tick through the midfield.
spot on... the guy makes us tick at the base of midfield. It is reassuring for defenders to know they have a competent ball player in front of them wanting the ball and distributing it. I dont see the need at home to have both Tetty and BJ in our midfield... Saying that we won so dont expect things to be changed as yet just considered.
 21.
I think Fox would sit nicely next to Tettey at the expense of BJ.
Lincoln I agree, I think at home we need to try and be as creative as possible and having someone like Fox next to Tetty or Johnson offers the team this. Im not one for changing a winning team, all I am saying is I hope CH sees what I see in Fox. I can see him getting frustrated with the lack of 1st team football, he isnt even making the bench which worries me as he is a top player.
 22. That is exactly right Hucks Boots, I feel DF has been unlucky with his time of injury etc... I just hope CH doesn''t ignore his ability and 1st team credentials completely.
 23. your entitled to your opinion, however I dont think he would of finish 3rd in player of the season last year if he couldn''t cope in the EPL. More than capable, IMO. Agreed not the best athlete but again offers the team something different, class on the ball and his passing range is stupidly good.
 24. I see your point our squad has become more and more competitive, especially in the midfield area. However Fox is a completely different player to all three midfielders you have mentioned in your post. Johnson and Tetty are both work horse midfielders breaking up play, Howson is a more advanced midfielder. I feel it would be a shame to forget what Fox brings to the side, he moves the ball very well and offers us creativity at the base of our midfield, arguably the best ball player at the club.Very happy with the team at the moment dont get me wrong but I also appreciate teams ability to change systems so we dont become a one trick pony. We did this very well last season.
