Right...we need a striker, Leroy Lita (as everyone knows) is looking for a club (thats going to offer him a high wage) so the idea is... Lita should be offered a 3 year contract with the rebate money being used as his wages. 700,000 / 36months = about £20,000 a week. Now i imagin that is about what he was on at reading, so therefore...Lita''s happy, the clubs happy, and most of all the fans are happy!!! just think if it this way...£700,000 for Lita would be a steal!!! All we will need to do is get rid of clingan and Russell and we should still have about £1m left to go towards new players (Maric, Askou, Whaley, ect) and other wages!!! :D Everyones happy!!! Im not saying that we are signing them but, if you had the choice to sign either, who would it be? Both 6ft, and have very similar goal ratios, think its something like 0.4 goals per game. Its a hard one :S

Nice to see the scums pre-season get of to a good start. Was a fairly strong side they put out as well.

He needs compition, last season we didnt have anyone else who could play RB, therefor Semmy was our only option.

Hopefully he''ll stay fit as i think he could play a big part next season. We still need cover though!

Is the squad Team Gunn are putting together a team for the future? I cant remember the last time we had a squad of the same players for more than a season, they seem to come in then leave just as quick. Thoughts...?

Maric and Askou, also McVeigh but i think a deal is as good as done for him so im not counting him as a trialist.
