Well, bailojnr....Interesting, but we all know that won''t happen.. First of all, Charlton will not start, as Shackell is impressing and Drury playing pretty well.. Some people on this site feel Fleming should be dropped....Can''t say I disagree, but deep down I feel Worthy will NOT replace him.... Helveg (if he is fit) may replace Eddie, but that''s impossible to say. So in defence: Eddie/Helveg, Fleming, Shackell, Drury. In midfield there are several options, though I feel there''s no GOOD options. Most likely: Francis and Holt in center.(Man, what the hell is Holt doing in our team) Safri may replace Holt, and that is about time, but again impossible to say what''s going on in the head of Worthy.. And Hucks on the left and Jonnson (I guees his ban is over?)on the right... McKenzie has been impressing, so he will without a doubt start upfront with Deano... Tore

I remember the game like it was yesterday... It was of course sometime in 93, and I was watching live on SAT1, a german channel...No surprise, they were shocked! I''m pretty good in the german language, and it was hilarious hearing the german commentators, getting more and more upset as the game evolved.... Who can forget when Gossy smashed his volley behind the german keeper...Or when Crook''s splendid free-kick somehow found Bowen to nick the second... A night I will never forget... I would say he''s a winger....He must be....Because he don''t score any goals, not in this league anyway (pretty secure from the spotkick though...He misses so many chances...We might as well put Flem up front, maybe he can score more... He''s a winger beacuse of his pace and his ability to challenge defenders, escpecially right-backs, and he''s a good crosser! dizney78

Yes mate!! Im coming over to Norwich for 4-5 days in april and I will attend the Charlton game..(!) Im travelling with NCSCS (Norwich city supporters club of scandinavia) Actually a friend of mine in NCSCS got the tickets through Matthias Svennson....Who is our president in our club at the current time....And the following monday/tuesday I will be doing some interviews and so with players, Nigel with another mate in the supporters club...Even lunch with the players...WoW.....hehe i guess the football club is excited having foreigners coming over to seeing their club... Keep in mind.....One thing that Worthy has spoken about is the "quality"...And even though tactics and so on might be spot on, If you dont have quality you will concede goals... No disrespect to Flem or the Doc or whoever, but the pace of the prem is too much for ''em, good tactics or not good tactics! That''s why we have conceded the most goals in the prem.. See my point? Hi! I am from Norway so I know all of this...hehe Canal+ sends basically 5 matches every saturday....first they show the "early kick off" game, with two matches live at 3....They have 5 channels....In the evening they send two matches in re-run at 7 and 9......So it''s a pretty great thing...They send of course all the sunday and monday matches live...2 live matches this tuesday and 1 on wednesday......Unfortunately, they will not send Everton-Norwich live or re-run... The west-brom game will be on tv here this saturday, though not live... Tore    

This has been mentioned before, but I feel it''s so important that I made a single topic out of it... Keane of United, (Gravesen) of Everton, Savage of Blackburn, Viera of Arsenal and so on... We need a "shouter"!! A player that would be the playing and dedicated heart of the team.. No offence to Mullers or Holt or any other for that matter, but I feel we lack commanding power... In div 1, Adam dealt with the captaincy "good", but he is the guy that almost never opens his mouth...Craig is a better choice as captain, but still there''s something missing, particullary in midfield.. Holt is a FIGHTER, but surely lacks quality in different areas, especially in the department "passing and finding options" if you know what I mean....Last season I remember we were relieved we had Mullers that gave us some passing quality in midfield, but as we are finding out, he''s not doing his bit in the Prem....He is NOT a fighter, and are not up for the standard in this division.....So, that leaves us with Francis, which has been the biggest surprise this season....Just think the horror if we did not have him..He''s aggressive and keeps the ball well and finds options...But it is.......NOT enough... OK, we say we lack that finishing touch to get goals, I agree...Thank god we did get Ashton....But if we had that "instrumental" midfielder, man, we could kick some serious ass in the Prem! Hi guys... Good news to hear McKenzie more than likely will play up front on saturday, with Worthy promising changes...But what about our dane? When I heard he signed for Norwich I couldn''t believe it....And now, 7 games into the Prem, he''s actually on the bench....Worthy has all along said he needed time to transform from italian football, but it''s strange he haven''t seen more action..Though his game at Old Trafford wasn''t much.I admit, Edworthy is playing very well on right back, and it isn''t fair knocking him out of the team....But how ''bout making Thomas an anchor in midfield or something....Maybe he can make this midfield work? He has played in that position before, and is not an in an out right back.... Keeping in mind, Thomas is captain for one of the best national teams in europe, I think Martin Olsen, Denmark coach, is not happy seeing his captain on the bench...! hehe What are your thoughts on this guys?

Hi guys...I''m from Norway and the double football channel we got here (canal + and canal + sport) is sending so many games it''s confusing....So far I''ve seen every Norwich game live, and later today the Villa game will be shown live as well...! It actually can be difficult, since they send matches at the same time on different channels....A couple of friends of mine are Palace fans, and their game vs Man City is live on the other channel...hehe...No Palace game here! Our next game against the Reds will not be shown live, however the game will be shown later that same evening....So i guess i better lock myself in and turn off my mobile and tv, to get that exciting game "live"..... May we get 3 points from the Villains?   Tore

Helveg and Jonsson will start on the bench today, replaced by Edworty and McVeigh.. Up front Doherty starts alongside Hucks...

Yeah, I agree with you on that part...I don''t concider Charlton a better side than Norwich, so if Jonatan is on the bench with The Athletics, he sure might wind up at the bench at city..Though I feel we should give more room to Leon. A steady goalscorer with pace. And saying he ain''t combining well with Hucks, is bull....Though i reckon Nigel wants a target man up front, that might see Doherty getting a more attacking role, at least until we find our new striker...!

Well, it finally seems something might happen with Johansson and Norwich... Any thoughts on this? How good is he? I haven''t seen him play I think..
