1. I don''t want to talk like this on a day that he''s done so well, but I won''t change my opinion either. Simply put, Rusty and Doc are more important to the team. That''s what I said before and I''ll say it again today.Chris Martin is playing well at the moment and he''s full value for his place in the team. I''m not going to criticise any player for no reason. But he''s not a ''complete striker'', he''s just a good one, and to think that he''s the cornerstone of this team or our future is moronic. As GJP put it above, the last time we got carried away with him he got one of the best contracts we''ve ever offered to a player of his age.Let''s keep it all in perspective. Good finisher, worth his place - but Doc and Rusty are much, much more vital.
 2. 5-0. I had money on more than 4.5 goals. About £65 for me now.
 3. I can''t explain just how much I am enjoying this. It''s perfect. A perfect game.
 4. Quick and dirty:Ref blew a few seconds earlier, and he goes in like this on Wes.A closer angle, which I missed the opportunity to print screen on, has him looking exactly where he''s putting his foot.
 5.

What did their sub do to pee off R.Martin?
He ran off with the towel to dry the ball with before a throw in.  It was a bit like a first school game.
Then Aidy went over to thank him for it. Full of class, this lot.
 6. Doc had a boot on him there, not sure why he got carded. I''m a frequent criticiser of Chris Martin but the boy has done superb so far today. Hats off to him. Grant Holt seems to be penalised for being Grant Holt. Wes is attracting some nasty fouls and I''d be surprised if a red card didnt come from a tackle on him. Also, the tackle that started that ruckus was arguably a red. A terrible late boot high on Wes.
 7. I used to live on Kerrison Road, which comes off the corner between the Barclay and the Jarrold. I could hear the PA and fans from my house.
 8. One, how do you know how much the investigation cost? Your first post made it sound like a random guess, the second like a fact. Two, does it matter? Do we only prosecute criminals if the value of the assets received is more than the cost of the prosecution itself? We do not.
 9.
Well, I was trying to be polite, but erm..........How should I put this?...........It''s um.........It''s, you know?...........It''s a..............It''s a pile of sh*t.
Don''t hold back, tell him what you really think
 10. You mean Michael Spillane isn''t the greatest defender of his generation?
 11. It''ll take a lot to displace Holt or Martin, but Oli was clearly signed to be the next in line, and he''ll do well there. Keep lazy boy Martin on his toes.
 12.
Darel Russel
As someone else said, the fact that so many people call Darel underrated or unsung shows that he is exactly the opposite.
 13. Some of us said he would, but don''t get listened to...
 14.
Why.?? We are a mountain ahead of you.Leeds will win the league. One point towards promotion and still only lost one game all season. The gap is too big for u to catch us. Any of you who think you will take top spot is deluded to high heaven.
That didn''t take long.
 15.
I''m quite keen to hear Lambert''s thoughts on Oli Johnson. Surely in the position we''re in we have to be improving the squad. I''ll be interested in hearing how Lambert thinks Oli will do that.
Oli Johnson is a good player. He''s better than Jamie and he''s better than Cody. Is that not improving the squad? Some people...
 16.
The cynical side of me asks the question "how many Colwho fans have placed a 10p bet on Lambert to bring the odds down?"  The way they are acting at the moment I wouldnt put it past them!!!
It really doesn''t take much. I yesterday that I think it''s a bunch of fans artificially moving the price. It only takes 10 or so to force a bookmakers hand.
 17.

All we can do with this is wait and see. But I really don''t see any point in slagging a player off before we have even seem him play. It is just the usual we get on here - every time we sign someone they are either crap or we have missed out on someone better. Only a couple of months ago people were slagging off Holt, saying how we''d missed out on Dickinson and got second best. I''m pretty sure that this is not their opinion now. Lambert has so far well for us in terms of tactics, results, and also signings, so I''m willing to trust his judgement on the guy before deciding whether this player is any good, and I suggest others do the same.
He''s a 22 yr old striker who rarely scores and rides the bench at Stockport.  I see no reason to be excited about him coming to Norwich.  If he turns out to be good, then that will be a nice surprise, but I sure would not hang my hat on this guy having an impact. If he is "all that" but on the bench, then it speaks towards other problems such as attitude, effort and team chemistry.
So speaketh someone who knows f*ck all about the goings on at Stockport. Roll Tide.
 18.
Everyone keeps talking about Fulham being interested so he must be a good player. What a laod of rubbish if he was that good Fulham would have snapped him up by now and he wouldn''t have been on the bench at Stockport all season and now joining us, he would be heading to a top champ or a premiership club. It seems as though hes probably a squad player and i for one will be reserving judgement until I''ve seen him play a full season,.thats  if he gets a game.
Doesn''t sound like you''re reserving judgment.
 19. Oli can cut it straight away. He''s in a very bad team at the moment, but he''s got enough about him to make an impact. Most definitely.
 20. As I''ve previously said on here, I have a soft spot for Stockport and keep an eye on their players - Oli Johnson is a good one. We''ll do well to have him.
 21. He was alright. Good touch for the goal but he spent the rest of the game giving the ball away, trying to get Brown sent off and then missing a sitter to go up 2-0. Still, if it means he''ll leave the division, I''m all for it.
