1.

UN - BE - LIEVABLE !!No wonder some of our players get tight! I had a hunch it would take no time at all for someone to play the moron card on Cody''s clean sheet last night. Even if this was intended as a wry joke it''s not funny. I''m not saying that everything in the garden''s rosy, far from it. But don''t go placing problems where they do not as yet exist.
Tool.
Why? I''ve placed my reason for disagreeing with you on the table. I don''t think it''s in any way reasonable to give Cody any grief at all at this stage. We have enough to worry about without making ghost issues up. Sorry if you''d prefer a one liner insult but I''m not on here to trade playground insults. Was it a joke post or are you seriously suggesting that we have a young striker who won''t hit a barn door. If you are - then I can not for the life of me see how you arrive at that so early on.If it was a joke, then pardon me for not seeing it, but there are so many complaints (rightly) flying around at the moment that the tone is hard to grasp on new threads. Can''t believe I just spent this long responding to you calling me a tool!
I can''t believe I''ve just spent that long reading that drivel.Read through the rest of the thread. I don''t think anyone here has really criticised Cody Mac. He looks a quality striker.Obviously the original post was tongue in cheek posted at the time of his string of missed chances 8-) Everyone loves Cody Mac. Fack.

 3.
"Credit to Gunny for making the sensible changes... " Smudger... nice to see some pragmatism in your posts... long may we do well enough that it continues! :)
I have noticed just a tad bit of pragmatism in Smudger''s posts recently. I''m a little impressed.
 4.
Yes, that is pretty impressive but taht is when we needed the fans to gte behind the team, and after 1 game to protest for the manager out is bad. They had the right to protest, no doubt about it, but to protest for the manager out is going 2 far.
It''s not after one game. Just shut the f*** up, you''re making yourself look like a blithering idiot.
 5. Unlucky Scotland. Could be worse though, could have Theoflapsalot.
 6.
I would say the fact that 25000 turn up week after week and season after season to watch the poor standard of fball we churn out would suggest some of the most loyal in the country.
Absolutely. You really can''t get any more loyal than that! Literally. The crap we''ve put up with for so many years, to still get sell out crowds and 18000 or so season tickets... phenomenal.
 7.
I was at the game on Saturday and I was appualed that 100''s of fans protested after the game! Every team has 1 bad game every season... and that was ours. Fair enough, the people who did protest obviously want Gunn out. But after the first game of the season you can''t just how the season is going to go. You cant judge him after 1 game in league one. Anyway, the last time we lost 7-1 (against Blackburn in the 92/93 season) we finished 3rd in the premier league! If you have the time and money to buy a seasson ticket. Then what''s the point of protesting after 1 game? How many loyal fans do we have? How many fans will stay with us when were down? After Saturday, my guess... is not very many.
I didn''t protest. I did however leave very early and I am not even ashamed to say that, as I would have been in the past.Anyway, in no way can you have a go at the protesters after that match. No way.Gunn was an appalling appointment once the board did what had to be done and axed the rodent. Their faith in Gunn was proved incorrect as he took us in to the 3rd tier of English football for the first time in 50 years. They then went on to appoint Gunn as permanent manager even after this. That''s shocking. You can not compare losing 7-1 at Blackburn in the Premier League with losing 7-1 to Colchester f****** United. At HOME! That was abysmal. Humiliating. Almost unforgivable. I would have sacked him on the spot, in the middle of Carrow Road for all to see. However, IF he turns it around and we are able to mount a very credible promotion push (and I don''t mean be within touching distance of the top 6, we should at least be in the top 6 for the majority of the season, more like top 4 in reach of automatic promotion) then obviously I will reassess my opinion on Gunn as a manager. But I really don''t see that happening. It''s just one win. Don''t forget we beat Barnsley 4-0 or whatever it was under Gunn.......
 8.
It was Yeovil
Completely agree. Also sounded like a very average first half. Still a 4-0 win away from home though, against a team in the same league as us. Once the first goal went in, it obviously gave the team that bit of confidence to go on.
 9. Completely agree. He must start on Saturday.
 10.

On behalf of all true Norwich supporters who want the best for this club, we are devastated by this seemingly competent performance. We think that Bryan Gunn, no matter how well City do, is not the man for the job. We hope this is a one off and that we go on to get hammered on Saturday. [Y]
You seem to think he''s the man for the job no matter how BAD we do. One win against the mighty Yeovil changes nothing.
Just because I want City to win doesn''t mean I think Gunn''s any good. I was merely poking fun at the tossers who were hoping for a Yeovil win tonight. Bless ''em.
Fair enough. And obviously I always want us to win, and would rather we won every remaining game this season but I just don''t think Mr Gunn is anywhere near the man fr the job.
 11. Sounds like he''s been watching too much of Cureton.

 13. Anyone who says Gunn in, he''ll turn it around etc etc now I will come to your house and rape you.
 14.
Don''t Be Too Hard On Him. It Wasn''t Just Him, There Were 10 Other Men On The Pitch!
He was diabolical. Fact.So were others, yes.
 15.
I hope we never see that clown Theoklitos in a City jersey again. I saw Simon Tracey and Jamie Ashdown play during their ill-fated spells with us, and Theoklitos is worse than both of them.
Combined.
 16.

I will still want Gunn out.
Of course. Goes without saying. One win against Yeovil in the first round of the League Cup obviously won''t change that.
Yeovil are the same level as us! dont be to complacent,Delia has dragged us to this level!
Oh, thanks for clearing that up for me.

 18.
Don''t like it at all, change it back IMHO.
Agreed
 19.
Ben Alnwick is in goal tonight.  just announced on RN.  i bet theres a clean sheet tonight.
Keep up boyo.
 20.

Poor Maric, doesn''t even get a chance in the Carling.
Hopefully Maric and Cureton will come on at the hour mark to stake a claim.Yes Jamie Lad deserves a chance.
Oh. My. G no. No. I can''t be bothered.
Might aswell terminate his contract then?
I just came.
 21.
What are peoples thoughts on him? I think he could do fairly well in League 1. But we have Maric, Holt, Cody and Martin who all seem to be better. He could be one to bring on later in games though??
I think he can''t score in a brothel.

 23.
Not changed that much and I cant see what Martin did wrong personally.
He didn''t score. Cody did. That''s what strikers are judged on, goals.
