Deserved loss? Where's the truth?
Hoolahan? Youlahan! replied to BlyBlyBabes's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
Erm... Heres the Truth. Despite having 17 shots and 12 of those on target, we cant hit a cows backside with a banjo, surely thats implying we missed the target on most occasions, when they owe their existence in this match to their keeper. Coventry Norwich Goal Attempts 8 : 17 Goal Attempts On Target 4 : 12 On Target Crosses 13 : 15 Crosses Corners 2 : 7 Corners Offside 1 : 6 Offside Fouls 11 : 8 Fouls Free kicks 14 : 12 Free kicks Yellow cards 1 : 2 Yellow cards Red cards - : - Red cards % Possession 45 : 55 Possession % -

We have entirely outplayed a poor Coventry side, beaten by an unjust penalty and a crossbar deflection, but we purely dominated the game, and yet i come on here and see people commenting that they cant be arsed with it etc. It really winds me up because we have genuinely looked a strong attacking side, 18 shots on goal doesnt lie. Okay so, we are missing a target man, but we arent missing goal scorers. We are going to stick the ball in the back of the net when we have gelled, so can we all stop shedding pathetic tears about the fact we lost on the opening day.
We are never short of exscuses for not winning are we. Eventually you have to accept that we just aren''t good enough in front of goal. Goalscorers win games, that''s why they cost a lot of money.
"Eventually I have to accept we arent good enough in front of goal." On the basis of one game away to Coventry, erm, I dont think I have to accept anything. Well said.
Oh grow up, honestly. I am not a Delia fan, i do not believe half of the PR sh*t she comes out with, but to have a tearful reunion over a very unlucky loss is ridiculous.

Omozusi isnt untried, he has played well in preseason IMO Also, he must be outperforming Semmy in training so I stand by Glenn on this.

Thanks mate. Hahaha I see your point there.I just thought Ar-tu-ro Lu-po-li and The Add-ams Fa-mi-ly went quite well -
15% doesnt scan. When Spurs bid 18million, we were told we would get almost 2million.15% of 18million is roughly 2.7million.

Left unpicked in the EuroOur loan star named ArturoHe''ll flick it on for CuroHe comes from ItalyDavid Bell''ll knock itThe keeper just cant block itWho''s just banged in a rocket?Arturo Lupoli.Obviously to the tune of the Addams Family.Im quite proud of that attempt, wouldnt really adapt to the roar of the Barclay sadly.

Its somewhere around 10%. We would definitely be getting at least 1.5million, and what with Glenns shrewdness (and brilliance) in the transfer market, I think that could rebuild big time, if necessary.

thoughts on the different 'big men'

I agree with the majority of your points.Jamie and Arturo will NOT win headers this season, we know that. However I''ve never rated Steve Howard, I think he has the first touch of a walrus, and strength is his only asset.Shola Ameobi is a Premiership level footballer at one of the better (sic) clubs in his league.Whatever Newcastle are, Im confident they would sadly give us a beating a la Spurs.Im sure that whether he wins the majority of headers and flicks or not, we would all rather see him at our club than Howard.OTBC. -
Hey everyone.New poster here.Certainly an unorthodox way to start my message board "career" but:The chorus is: Dale a tu cuerpo alegria, Macarena (Literally: "Give your body happiness, Macarena", but what he means to say is "Treat your body right, Macarena") Que tu cuerpo es pa darle alegria y cosas buenas ("That your body is for recieving happiness and good stuff") Dale a tu cuerpo alegria, Macarena (see above) Eh, Macarena! Nice effort though
