If we can't beat Charlton next week.
Attleborough_Canary replied to First Wizard's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City

After watching Charlton nearly beat Derby last night, I''m quite concerned about Saturday now, agreed?
Did they play well then Wiz [:^)]
I thought Charlton were awful and Derby even worse. The 2 players to worry about are Lloyd Sam who has pace and Bouazza who seems to get into decent positions. I think we will win well on Saturday (now waiting to be shot down for being positive) -
What exactly is the point of this thread? You want to call W8wba fat, is that it? You think someone you''ve never met is fat....? great that''s really, really funny honestly
I have to say that I agree and whilst we all hate Wolves, WE8WBA has contributed quite well to the forum (just my opinion which differs from most others I''d imagine). Personal insults from behind a computer screen are lame at the best of times but this one isn''t even that funny. -

"If it is possible to pass judgement in 12 mins, I would say slow and ponderous though did show a bit of strength at times." Someone asked what he was like in that 12 mins and thats what he was like. Apologies if this is passing judgement but just saying what I saw last nite. -

No!!!!! 500k to 1 mil - Save it and go with Renton or Daley. If it is possible to pass judgement in 12 mins, I would say slow and ponderous though did show a bit of strength at times. Won''t cut it in the championship if the 12 mins was anything to go by. -
GIVE YOUTH A CHANCE!!!

The thing lacking in my opinion last night was fitness in most of the young lads however Daley ran all nite, and the way he harried and chased defenders reminded me of Mckenzie, he looks like he can finish and has a bucket load of pace. To me he looks like the one to step up. Looked like Renton isn''t getting enough games to get fit after the leg break but did take pretty much his only chance very well. Going forward the team looked very dangerous and the decision making was good which is something the current seniors could learn from. Just one more point from last night, Nelson. He made a few good saves but in the first 15 minutes was a total liability and some of the mistakes he made were worse than schoolboy! -

Against Wolves, the quality of the ball into the box was of far better quality than in any other game this season in my opinion. I felt the reason for this was that the full backs on both flanks make a concious effort to bomb past our wingers thus giving the opposition defence something else to worry about. It gave our wingers far space and time to put the ball into the box because it wasn''t Croft against 2 defenders for example. Even if the fullbacks didnt get the ball they pulled defenders away which is something I dont think we do enough of, maybe more of this would result in an improvement in the service into the box generally, not just from Croft.

Hi For all my sins, I used to be a steward in E block Barclay. The point raised concerning the lack of control of the away supporters was something that we who stewarded E block pointed out on a near weekly basis as this has been going on for years. I always felt it was unfair to tell a group of fans to sit down when in full view of them the away fans were constantly on their feet. On the other hand, stewards are told what to do by the control room however how they go about relaying this to the fans concerned is upto the steward. I was always a believer that if you used a little bit of banter while stewarding you got a much better response. I was a steward until about 3 years ago (I finally got fed up with not being able to sing) and in that last season NCFC did have FA representatives at the games as they saw the standing in the Barclay as a persistant problem. I think the club needs to treat all fans in the ground home and away in the same manor and enforcing the same rules.
