1. its a bit of a no win situation i dotn see the point in selling marshall clingan or bell, there our best players.......so why sell them to bring in other good players.....its pointless keep the squad we have, hope for investment and live of freebees its the norwich way :)
2. i forgot to add croft and lappin too. we have god a squad ! i think we will improve in the summer, its a matter of time til somebody takes interest into the club.
3. just being curious..how do you know we are paying his wages ?
4. why would you sell your best players eg bell, marshall, clingan to buy more good players ? id rather keep them :)
5. i wasnt aware he match fixed , thought he was a good player ! im just looking at a wider spec, were not relying on loans, we have a basis, we just need more players i was trying to point out we dont need a dramatic squad change as many make out obviously didnt work
6. im not actually worried about our current squad, and believe it will still be a championship squad next season. yes we are currently relying on loans, and lack strikers, but when you look at things we dont need that much....                        marshall otsemobor  doherty    stefanovic   drury bell         clingan          russell         hoolahan                cureton              ?????  bench : nelson, fozzy, spillane, martin forget the loans...we have a good team of our OWN players.........we just need backup and strikers im not too worried about the future ahead :)
7. if he brings in another freebee like sammy clingan will be a good window !
8. he hasnt got the best out of every1, meaning hoolahan. clingan and bell look great players i think if bell plays wins will come the table also shows that winning a few games on the spin puts you right up there. ipswich were with us a few games ago, now look at them ? it all changes, it takes time !
9.

Lucky - I agree with some of the points you make - but you didn''t make them on the earlier post did you? I was replying to your comments that "most of the deadnecks around you are happy to suffer in silence." Now to be fair these comments about fellow fans have become so widespread on here that one fans "deadneck" is quite possibly that same deadnecks sheep". On this thread alone fans accuse fellow fans of being "deadnecks" along with other comments on this thread about fellow fans with "heads up their arses" and fellow fans "being happy to sit back and watch sh*t week in week out" and even the more restrained criticisms about "how long before there are enough supporters who not only find their voices but are loud enough to be heard" or "being astonished by fans still singing Glen Roeders yellow army" are just examples of where some of you on this thread must be criticising others on this thread. And there''s so many examples just lately on this message board of fans criticisng others for not doing something which they in turn don''t do themselves that in some cases you surely must be talking about eachother. The anti-club comment was clearly not aimed at you but at those posters who clearly state that they are anti board, manager, coaches, players and fans. The logical conclusion to this is, as you say, they will go away until there''s a club they can identify with. I guess every fan has their own breaking point but why do they find it neccessary to pick fights with other fans first.
well lets get together and sound our voices in/outside CR next home game!!! how many fans do you think will turn up??? im asuming not many as they live with thier heads in the sand/up thier arses and are happy to sit and watch our club sink...im not getting at other fans but if they are true supporters how much longer will they let this go????
i have a question for you nigel what will getting roeder out do ? hes attracted good players to the club, cant see how a new manager with no money will help
10. sibierski did well against preston. when cureton came on the game did change, we didnt have anybody to aim at. sibierski has done a good job, considerign he isnt actually a target man  !
11. nothings going to happen if roeder goes out. what is a new manager going to do with no funds ? send the loans back and get some different ones ? were far off being the best side in the championship, and were not going to go anywhere for a few seasons, its a bleak look at things, but its the truth. unless funds come in, then nothing will ever happen. people have  got to understand this and that it takes time, being impatient isnt going to help.
12. no matter what position our club is in, we should always want them to win anybody who doesnt cant be a real fan
13. agreed with most ! i thought bertrand had a good first half, but lost it a little in the second half ! david bell is real class, already my favourite player !
14.

New manager needed but I fear it will cost us too much money. What a shame and what a shambles Norwich City is at the moment.
what are you on about roeder has not had enough money to buy a full squad, and were now talking about how david bell is a quality player ! roeders perminant signingers.......... bell-looks a class act hoolahan- was awsome at blackpool, needs time to get back to how he was clingan-looks to be bossing midfield hes tried to get other players in but we just dont have the funds hes a good manager !
Hoolahan cant dribble, he cant cross and he cant score, all the time in the universe wont change that. You''re right about Cligan and Bell though. Apart from Hoolahan and Pattison Roeders permanents have been good. I hope he signs Kennedy on a permanent, at last a CB that chips in with goals!!! Signing quality players doesnt make a good manager!!!
if you cant get good signings, your not going to have a brilliant side !! hoolahan was on fire at blackpool, it takes time !
15.
I use to be a massive fan of Lee Croft in the days when he was overshadowed by Chadwick, but now we''re seeing him play week in and week out I''m seeing him for what he is as a winger. I still like him for his bullish and relentless running, but he is terribly frustrating to have in the side when it builds up to nothing. He runs past opposing players, but what is that if nothing comes of it? Goals? No. Assists? No. Crosses? Never. When I''m watching him, i just ask myself what is it really all for. He can''t cross in my eyes, he really can''t. Now the only real hope i see for him is if he adapts himself to a Huckerby style of game. It may fail, granted, but i think it''s an interesting idea, and worth a try. Whenever he runs at the defence and is approaching goal, he comes good. The Sheffield United goal was a fine example of that, and he''s done it on other occasions and come pretty close to scoring. And for that i think there are foundations of which this technique can be built upon. If we have him cutting inside and going for goal, like Huckerby, he has the defence on the back foot, and with his pace, and ability to place a shot he''ll take advantage of it i reckon. If he perfects this technique in that respect i reckon he could be quite something. Otherwise though, i see little point of him being on the pitch unfortunately. Do you reckon he would thrive by adapting a Huckerby form of offence? Or do you think he has what it takes to perfect his crosses as a winger? Whats your take upon Lee Croft...
no. bell is, he doesnt run at players, but he is a class act and will have the same effect as huckerby !
16.
Cant disagree with Bell''s delivery but doesn''t have the pace to terrorise fullbacks. I think he needs a quick man outside of him to give us both options.
he doesnt need pace if he keeps crossing like that he will be terrorising the scoreline thats all that matters
17. the stats dont lie !!! an attacking player that  hardly scores doesnt put in very good crosses runs at people.....with no end product hardly any assists    hes in for effort........thats nothing
18.
I thought GR was ok today, brought back Bertrand who looked good, Bell was good on left, Croft ok on right, but looked dead on his feet before his subbing. He can''t help the stupidity of Rusty can he? They did look a bit helpless and confused when Rusty went, but there is only so much that GR can do on the sidelines.
i think hes done a great job with what hes had. the permanant signings look good. and signing somebody like leroy lita, even on loan is a good signing. some of his decicisons he makes during the game are questionable, but we do not see what goes on  at colney, and whos not up to full fitness !
19.
20. ive never disliked him think hes a good player, just used to hold the player and lean ovet them in headers id have him in my starting 11 !
21. my apologies !! they scored because we lost out shape after russell got sent off :)
22. i completely agree with you !! lee croft does not do anything. for an ''attacking winger'' i would expect more than 1 good cross a game. if that, and 1 goal all season !! bell on the right please
23. ive said in other posts croft didnt do much today, but people are forgetting that players are only human, and they cant run and run for 90 minutes !! we lost because we were down to ten men after russell acted rashionally pattison has been good this season, you cant critisise him for the loss, especially when kennedy strayed out of position in the first place
24.

just think its worth trying something different see if theres a change
We''ve tried plenty of different things this season. I''d like to see a run of games with Croft on the right and Bell on the left. Both are good players, both should be in the team.
you are the only person fighting crofts cause. You play the best player in there best position, bell is best on the right so play him there. crofts played most games this season, scored once , and has probobly set up 1, maybe 2 goals......its all huff and puff
25. he put in 1 good ball in today, and that was in the first half when he swung it across, he doesnt score enough for a winger, and everybody knows it, his records show this !! just think its worth trying something different see if theres a change
