2. H e was the first player i truly saw as a legend, my first game being in the 89/90 season with my dad... i even painted a cardboard box framed picture of the man himself with ''ROBOT FLOCK'' scrawled in the corner!! True legend!! I still look back at my season review VHS vids and check out the legend in action....

 10. What was the away kit that season, i forget,  was it the equally brilliant tartan?
 11. Depends what yr bag is watering hole-wise..if you like you like it cheapish and enjoy the budget/alcopop side of things try on the riverside complex,  as there are wetherspoons ''lloyds#1'' and ''Norwegian Blue''  pretty close to the ground... but if you like a decent pub, with loads of city fans try the ''coach and horses'' on Yarmouth Road about 5/10 mins walk from ground.
 12.
jamie Forrestor once scored a 30 yard pile driver for me on footy manager, against Wolves in the FA cup for lincoln.... still lost 4-1 though. jas :)
sign him QUICK   [<:o)]
 13.  watched the footage on my 89/90 vhs not so long back ... it appears the reason the fines were heavy because it was live on tv ..or can someone correct me on that?? i certainly remember tension between malcolm allen and o''lairy, and the venomous look on allens face as allen appeared to elbox olairy in a header situation outside the box and allen falling into the penalty area, with help from o''leary then o''leary dragging allen out of the box, one hand on his hair and one on his shorts as he claimed it was out of the box...allen looked like he was going to rip his head off...i wish he did!
 14.

Fair play but, i was referring more to the fact that his father (obviously having an irish mother...if alex'' nan is irish..) would have had then opportunity then to play for those countries... I have irish heritage but would only play for england as i class my self as a proud englishman.
Nu Matik, in response to your sarcasm....... You stated "(obviously having an irish mother...if alex'' nan is irish..)" My point is that this is not ''obvious'', as it could have been Alex''s grandparents on his MOTHERS side. As it turns out, Steve Bruce was eligible to play for Northern Ireland but NOT the Republic of Ireland. Therefore you are wrong and Alex''s Irish roots must have come from his mothers side. The reason that Steve Bruce never played for Northern Ireland probably has more to do with the fact that he played for the England B team in 1987, thus meaning that it was too late for him to play for Northern Ireland. Its not rocket science.
I stand expertly corrected.
 15. I remember it very well...wasnt one of the penalties down to a blatant andy linigan handball though? and was this the occasion gunn got busted as in a picture there was a close up of gunns goalie gloves, erm, attched to someones face? or did i dream it?
 16. apologies. basically... dion would make a good coach in my belief. but the problems still lies with his family being in the midlands. hucks beside him would be magnificient.
 17.

I didn''t know he was a Republic of Ireland international. Which makes me wonder, if his dad was deemed not good enough to play for England, why didn''t he choose to play for the Republic? He probaby would have ended up as their most capped player.
Its undisputable that two people are required to make a baby. Have you considered that Mrs Bruce may be the one with Irish roots?
o rly?
 18. When i worked at Orgasmic in norwich, i used to regularly make pizzas for Iwan, Hucks and a few others funnily enough..the only one who ate salads was Phil Mulryne! I never got to see anyone wobblling out drunk as it was more of a place to go before mercy...although i did jear rumours a few more illicit activities phil mulryne got up to in mercy... I think the non internationals should be able to at leats sit in the pub and have a few watching their nation play....
 19. Id love to have dion here as a striking coach, and i too have heard nothing but admiraion over the years from associates and players about his leader shit qualities and great understanding of the game...couled ith hucks id say a brilliant team...sadly the above point about his family roots tieing him to the midlands seem to be a major stickng point :(
 20. Im just thinking from the angle of looking at last seasons catastrophe of losing both our best central defenders at a crucial point this season...and spillane is still unproven for me. we would have made about 500k on shacks if rumours are true...
