DESKTOP WALLPAPER: Norwich City 2009/10 squad photo
Who is the bloke next to Doc with a wig?
He could do a head and shoulders advert like the classic with Jason McAteer. -
Just got off the phone as I had to leave a message and they called me back. Some of the customers on direct debits were sent cheques by mistake, one of which was me. I can now cash the cheque and continue to pay the full amount or send it back and have my direct debit amount reduced. Hope this helps anyone in the same position.
-
Are you looking at the July or August debit payment. It''s the August payment that drops.
It was taken from my bank on August 3rd, same amount as they took in July. Now going to call them.
-
Just checked my bank online and my season ticket direct debit amount is still the same as before even though I said I wanted to claim my rebate. Has anyone else found the same? I am going to ring the club tomorrow but just wanted to see if it was just me or if anyone else had this problem?

Worst fans you have experienced on away trips????

Mine was at Rotherham when we won 4-2 (I think?) a few seasons ago in a cup game. We were wearing our shirts and walking back to the train station and got threatened and some guy flashed some sort of weapon (which looked like some sort of metal ball on a chain thing) at us and told us to "never come back again". I was too scared to say that I didn''t fancy going back to that dump in a hurry anyway. -
What sort of attendance can we expect for Col U?

Pretty much a sell out I would think. -
Championship Manager Legend
Hence why everyone knows who he is. I hope we dont sign this guy, he''s been knocking around the lower leauges for a few years now and not mad any impression at any of the clubs he''s been with.

I think if we had stayed up we would have targeted lower Premiership players (like Ryan France from Hull on a free) and players like Leroy Lita who were looking for another easy payday. I think we would have stagnated into another mid table or lower league finish. Hopefully this season will give us a confidence boost and return us to this "winning mentality" that everyone is banging on about. To answer your question more directly, I think if the squad we have now played in the Championship we would struggle, players like Doc and Nelson would struggle against quality strikers like Ched Evans and I''m not convinced we would have finished any higher than 12th at best. However, for the league we are in, I think the squad has a nice shape, for me, the hard work for Gunn and his team starts here - in getting the players he has (who in theory are good enough) to play as a TEAM.

Stay I say. I think he can help the likes of McDonald, Daley and to some extent Martin progress. I also think he is a good squad player to have. I can''t really understand how people are happy to have Mcveigh as a squad player but saying we should get rid of Cureton? I''m not his greatest fan but he can still be a solid squad player for us.
keep him away from cody mac, daley and martin FFS...we want them to hit the target [Y]
Haha, I''m sure he could introduce them to a few local girls and get them on the Mercy "VIP" list if nothing else. -

Nielson now on trial at Derby

I went to Uni at Lincoln and still follow their results, I used to enjoy going to Sincil Bank which I used to live about 400 metres from. Looks like they may be in pole position to sign Bridges now too which I think would be good for them. Mtandari for me, he didn''t really stand out last night but the game was very rushed. I''d like to see him and Powell given a half each on Saturday to see how they do with a bit more time and space on the ball (which seems to come with a higher standard of opposition) and more quality players around them. -

revised ideal line up for colchester?

I can''t see why so many would start McDonald in front of Chris Martin? I would pick Martin over McDonald every time at the moment. Since his loan spell he has learnt a lot about League football and Cody is still very raw and needs to be brought in slowly in my opinion. -
Maybe Whaley wants to match Hughes'' £7k a week made up wages, haha.

Dereham Town 1, Norwich City XI 1
jeagle replied to Pete Raven's topic in Main Discussion - Norwich City
I was at the game and I have to say I would agree more with Shack Attacks comments than some of the others on here. I agree with Cam''s friends comments about Francomb though and his positional play was first class for someone so young. I do have a few points: 1) It was obvious some of the players had been thrown together, the keeper didn''t even know the name of the sub who came on after about 20 minutes and had to ask Dario Dumic. 2) For someone who apparently "ran the midfield" against one of the Scottish teams Tom Adeyemi didn''t look all that good, I would put this down to the fact that he was closed down very quickly by the Dereham midfielders in the first half and would have liked to see him stay on for the whole 90 minutes and show his class later on in the game. 3) Dario Dumic may be big and strong but he has a lot to do on his ball work, I found it very annoying when he was dropping deep to get short goal kicks off the keeper (he may have been told to do this) on the edge of his 18 yard box, then cacking himself and giving it straight back to the keeper to hoof out. Dumic also played a few long balls which didn''t really seem to be very calculated. Like Shack Attack said, if these players are expected to be pushing for first team spots or immediate back up to first teamers then I would be slightly worried on tonights performance. 4) Troy Powell, Crysantho and Mtdantari were all decent and looked like they would work hard, I think if they are all willing to take 1 year deals and play alongside the likes of Steer, Adeyemi and Dumic in the reserves and push for the subs bench (now we can use 7 subs remember) then they would be worth a year each to see how they develop. 5) If we sign that keeper then I would not be impressed, not with Rudd and Steer so promising. Now, I have only seen the one game from these lads (although I did see Adeyemi, Dumic etc in a few games last season) so it is difficult to make a decent judgement but thats my views. Like another poster said Dereham are a good young team, they beat Lowestoft 7-2 in a friendly and only lost 2-0 to Histon, plus the majority of their boys have been playing together for a while now. -

We love "media Thursdays". A couple of new signings would do wonders for the ticket sales for the Man Utd game on Saturday. -
