1. It was great to see our beloved Hucks kick a**e on Saturday and actually receive some kudos (man of the match etc) that he so richly deserves. This season he has looked so under confident, and I''ve been hoping he''d get a goal in open play and get that confidence back, but now, hopefully he''ll look at the boro game and realise that four assists are better than any one goal!
2. I stayed to the end of the boro game and I got my reward for being a "loyal supporter" which was seeing an awesome comeback. I DON''T believe that part of my reward was the right to become a total self righteous toss pot like certain "fans" who seem to care more about the fact they stayed than the actually performance of the team. Petty one-up-manships is.... well... petty. Grow the f**k up. Honestly.
3. I think it''s all down to confidence (heard this before, aincha?) But last season we were knocking in shots from all over and outside the penalty box. Hucks finishing was a times superb. I think he especially, but the rest of the team also, are severely lacking confidence. Fortunately I don''t think Ashton is suffering and hopefully he''ll lead the way!
4. That looks like the ticket, or me at least, although I''d definately have Safri over Mulryne...!
5. I know - it''s crazy. He can barely see over the counter at KFC!
6. No seriously - there is Small McVeigh''s double in KFC, I kid you not. Down to the ruddy cheeks, too! Truuuuuuuuust me! He is commonly refered to as "Mini McVeigh", even though he couldn''t possibly be smaller..... We often buy KFCs simply to have a giggle at Mini McVeigh....!
7. Every knows Small McVeigh works in the KFC on Prince of Wales road....
8. OR Buy Andy Johnson - then we''d be cooking with gas!
9. I hope worthy is on the phone about Routledge! He''d be the icing on the cake!
10. Flem and Charlton can try jumping.... Greeno''s quite tall....?
11.
I remember some of his runs from defence last season and he looked good. If everyone thinks that Jukebox could do a job in midfield how about.... ...................Greeno Eddie.......Flem......Doc ...
Actually I was thinking of him playing central, with Hux on the left. We need someone to break up the other team in the centre of the pitch, which I don''t think Mullers and Damo have been doing.
12. Actually, I''d be good to see him play in midfield, Drury IMHO is ace, and we have no cleaner tackler. Considering the current situation were we have no partner for Damo, and we need someone in midfield to break down the opposition, playing Drury there might just be the ticket!
13.
Don''t know what to make of this one. Tonge would be a decent signing, but i wouldn''t let Drury go. Just because he hasn''t been consistent this season doesn''t mean he can''t cut it. i''m sure he will com...
Good call dude..... much as I love Small McVeigh, I''d love to see Tonge play here!
14. Much as I love Leon, I don''t think he has the skills to pay the bills.... thats not to say a) he won''t improve, b) he won''t suddenly find a rich vein of form playing along side Ashton, I as much as anyone want to see him do well... I think a few of you are forgetting about Mr Svensson. I think Svenny has a great touch, and plays some intelligent football. I don''t think Huckerby, not being the out-and-out striker that Ashton/McKenzie and Svenny are is Ashton''s best partner - keep him on the wing/free role/left where he is best!
15.
ob1 - With all due respect - actually made my posting on Monday night BEFORE the Pinkun had the story on the site so why don''t you note the time of the post? OTBC
Heh heh! I kinda figured that, so I put the smiley there to show I wasn''t being serious!
16. I don''t mean any disrespect, but this is the pinkun website, can''t you at least try reading it? "But, speaking to the EDP last night, Mr Wynn Jones said there was “no link whatsoever” between the buy and the sale of the publishing company."
17.
Celia?
haha! You asking her on a date or something?
18. Are you being stupid? 17Crystal Palace1818Norwich16 TWO points adrift of fourth from bottom....
19. Oh, yeah.... I think that Les Ferdinand got a 99 shirt when he went to Newcastle to parner Shearer, or vice versa.... I''m sure some one in the Premiership has worn 99 anyway. Although I think the rules have changed - you can only have up to number 50 on shirts now.
20. Whatever he gets I doubt it''ll get changed....
21. I''m with the wiz on this one, but I really doubt we''ve made the bid somehow....
22. The absolute worst of wizards drivel is preferable to yet-another-bulls**t-transfer-rumour-from-my-mate-the-reliable-source
23. 1st Wizard maybe a pain sometimes, but he is more a part of these forums than anyone I could mention!
24. If it''s too good to be true, it probably isn''t.
