1. Well, I quite like the new kit. I will still only buy the home one as they are £40 each!, but yeah - prety nice. Its like one of those paint coats which changes colour depending on which direction you look at it! - one is dark green the other black! There, that settles it.
 2. Why the hell do people continue to believe these people!! Time and time again!
 3. In the words of Father Ted, Burnley can Feck Off.
 4.
What do we reckon for this one then? Personally I can see Mr Hiddink''s Russia taking it to ET - well organised, starting to peak, Holland may have already peaked and as we have seen with Portugal and Croatia who have rested players it is not so easy to get back in to the swing of things. Therefore I am going for a draw, and anything can happen in ET/Pens.
Wow - i am better than Mark Larwenson/Alan Shearer/ Andy Townsend/ Martin O neill :-)
 5.

theyve got £3.5m from the sale of Lafferty. Which in its self is ridiculous for an average championship striker.
Lafferty is better than that, at the moment I would say that is not a bad price at all.
Are you joking? I hope so.

 7. Oh and 5) I forgot that to start with he had to keep everything a secret to protect his identity - then by the end he has told us everything and even tells us where and when he is going with the club - making him easy to be found.
 8. I still want to believe!, but here''s why i''m wavering (make that not-believing) 1) The TWO signings last TUESDAY (including Bell) 2) The TWO singings last THURSDAY (he was 85% sure), FRIDAY at the LATEST! 3) Then his story changes to possibly MONDAY. One day he is bound to get the day right! 4) The whole Ameobi saga.
 9. Dion''s Lightsaber - ''''I put money on Croatia to win it and have stuck a few quid on Croatia to go through tonight....   But I havent picked a winner yet all tournament so basically I have cursed Croatia and would advise you all to steer well clear as a result.'''' Thank you for your warning!, as it was 0-0 after 90 mins I would have lost my money! I did not place a bet, so I am quite pleased :-) (Quote function wasn''t working!)
 10.
I must apologise for doubting the rumours before, but this person from wotb has predicted Alex Pearce, Nick Henry before they came, and also Rasiak before it fell through of course You can check his posts below: http://www.wrathofthebarclay.co.uk/interactive/board/index.php?username=wayne%20chris%20biggins
Um, I dont mean to nit-pick but isn''t it James Henry!
 11.
If i had the money (just finished school) I would certainly do so!!!
Get a job! I got a part time job whilst at 6th form after school to finance my own season ticket. That is no excuse! Yu can even pay monthly!
 12. I aint gonna knock a signing before hes played a few games for us, but Andy Cole didn''t really show too much for Burnley... We will see. I sincerely hope we get extra striker(s) even if it is him - i wouldn''t want to rely on him. As for the other bloke, maybe GNG was right - just a day late... few apologies may be in order... on the other hand might be good guessing... I don''t know what to think!!... About anything!...
 13.
In all fairness Croatia are odds on to beat Turkey so unless your betting big i wouldnt back Croatia. Is it me being greedy??
Yes!
 14.
I was certain Portugal would beat Germany last night so wouldnt like to say.
Well I had Germany to beat Portugal 3-1 so was a pretty good estimate - I always thought Germany would have enough in the bag
 15. Any predictions? Are Croatia a dead cert? Should I stick a fiver on them?!
 16. Convey is a very good player having seen him a few times, but I can''t see Reading letting him go this season - will be one of their main players IMO.
 17.
Were they just doing the transfer rumours thing from the papers, or was it the more reliable "Sky Sports understands that Shola Ameobi is on the verge of joining Norwich"?????
It was there, just in the transfer rumours section - just quoting the papers, nothing extra.
 18.
Surely Roeder isn''t crazy enough to spend 3.5m on a player like Ameobi! Here''s the not so great side of the Newcastle No.9 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJG3boMpY_M On the other hand though I would be pleased to see the board are showing abit of ambition for a change but 3.5m is 2.5m too much IMO.
Mate, 3.5m will be in the long term based on several things. Also, how you expect us to get a premiership player for 1m when players like Martin Paterson are being quoted at 2m I dont know. People seem to forget the rising prices of strikers, every team needs goals - none more than us. Would be an excellent signing.
 19.
do you know something Canary Chris? Or is it a guess!
I am afraid I have to admit it is a guess (educated however)! My only source is www.canaries.co.uk, i find its pretty reliable though. Im putting two and two together from everything i;ve heard, will see what my two and two adds up to by tomorrow evening!
 20.

Plenty of managers have rated him good enough to keep in a Premiership set up
Thats the thing I can''t get my head around. Why hasn''t a prem club come forward? And considering our finish last season (not entirely Glens fault I know) why would a player apparently worthy of the prem join us? Can it really be purely because of who our manager is?
I believe he genuinely has massive respect for Roeder and visa-versa - listening to any time Roeder has commented on him. And he can still play in the premier, and face it we do need a striker (he is a very good one). My only worry is for the money left over to strenghten other positions of need - may we be relying too much on incoming loans? Whatever happens, if we bid anything like 3.5 mill (regardless of how much is add-ons etc), no-one can question the ambition of our board. Sign him up! p.s. I dont think this is the Thursday signing(s) though ...
 21. :-O. They sound pretty confident that the deal is in place (even though I know the reliability of some papers!) I believe it shows a brilliant commitment by the board to Glenn if it takes place, he will bag us 20 goals in the championship no problem. We will see.
