1. For the record,  I have not "pulled Pete''s chain" either - perhaps Pete is capable of independent thought and perhaps he only deletes post which are unreasonable.
2. Indeed - some of those ''rocks'' have disappeared in the last half hour. Perhaps not so much disconcerting but rather inevitably predicatble.
3. Zonal marking is an excellent site that I have been following for some time, although it typically focuses upon the big matches and european teams. Michael Cox makes everything so easy to understand (admittedly with the benefit of hindsight) that it never ceases to amaze me how many experienced managers get their tactics so badly wrong despite extensive scouting networks and analytical tools. Having said this, we will probably find it harder once more teams start respecting us by trying to counter us. Lets worry about that next year and enjoy this remarkabel journey.
4. Nutty,I didnt even mention you. All I did was express an opinion about why I think this site is dying. You took upon yourself then to criticise me for asking for some maturity on this site. Now I am rat! What next? Do you want me to get in a game of sticks and stones? Would that make you happy? For gods sake, I left the playground over thrity years ago and simply have no wish to be baited. I stand by my post - this site is going downhill fast and I think the behaviour on here by many is far too agressive for a group of people who all share the same interest. If you think that I am referring to you, that is something for you to reflect upon and I will leave it at that.
5. Nutty,Your post perfectly typfies for me why this site is dying. Anyone who bothers to express an opinion that doesnt suit is a target for hounding off the site. No doubt the rest of the pack will be alerted so that can add their disapproval too.Enough said!!
6. GPAC,I was thinking more along the lines of creating another section of the Board whereby all the offending posters could argue amongst themselves until the cows come home. Otherwise, this will happen by default as posters drift off to other sites. The only thing saving the Pinkun is the lack of any serious competition. WOTB is simply pureile and other sites simply dont have the readership traffic. Of course, Archant may wish to protect their investment by being more assertive before it is too late.
7. GPAC,In my view the immature or antagonistic behaviour is not just confined to the few names that you mention. Left for long enough virtually every thread will deteriorate into a Delia vs Chase type debate. This has been going on for some time and Archant dont appear to be sufficiently worried about the impact on their site to want to do anything about - but the quality and range of posters has noticeably deteriorated in the last year. The funny thing is that we are enjoying fortune on the pitch beyond our wildest dreams - you think that would be enough to keep nearly everybody happy.
8. Tilly, You are being very disingenuous, your statement below is clearly inferring your sceptism of the OPs claim, whether you pretend otherwise or not. Now let me get this right.....are you saying that Mr Bowkett took you into his confidence and discussed the details of our Chief Executives salary and bonuses with somebody who he had ever heard of or met before ? Why the need for games?
9. It is my understanding that shareholders do have the right to ask questions of the club and that if apporached in a credible manner, the Chairman may well have agreed to have met with Tangie. By the sounds of it, Tangie has had some some sort of tacit agreement with Mr Bowkett to acknowldge that a meeting took place, so long as any confidences were not betrayed. If Tilly doesnt believe it, I am sure that he can check this out on his network, but I am prepared to give Tangie the benefit of the doubt. Now Tangie, I am interested upon whether you touched upon any football matters that coould be disclosed?
10. Number 9 - I was talking about the 1980''s and rest assured nothing has ever been up my back alley!!
11. The Whalebone (gald to hear it is still open by the way) and the Crusty Corner bring back many happy memories for me. I lived here in the mid 80''s whilst a student in a right dive (five of us in a small terrace with no central heating ) but loved my time living here. We lived next door to this old boy (Billy) who had been born in his house before WW1. Other memories include late night chips and curry sauce from the chineese on the corner and Mervyn from Mr Beetle whose workshop was round the back alley, which I think used to be an abbatoir before that.
12. Do the capital canaries have a regular venue to meet up at? Or if anyone else is at a loose end tomorrow evening, do you know any good bars to watch the match in London?
13. Nigel, No, I am not a traffic warden by trade, but equally I am not the kind of person that, for example, habitually parks in disabled bays if you follow the analogy. As I stated, I am not taking sides and I simply quoted your post becuase it was the first one to mention the deleted threads. This was not soley aimed at you, but rather to anyone whose posts Pete has felt the need to delete. He has not done this without any reasons and I think the collective expressiosn of innocence are childish assuming that some non-offensive posts have not been caught up in the deletion (e.g. the point that Norfolkbroadslim has made above). I also commend the action that Pete has taken regarding blockking future discussion regarding NCISA as expereince has shown that it is not possible to have any mature discussions about this sugbject for whatever reasons. I have persoanlly given up and accept that this should move to the newly upgarded NCISA website. This board is becoming very tiring for the majority of posters that dont want to constantly read playground slanging matches between varuious groups of likelminded friends/acquaintences. Lets focus upon the football and matters asscoaietd with the club.
14.
I got 3 emails from Pete [E][E][E] Reminded me of my birthday[^]   Did you get an Harry??   Seriously now, I don''t set out to break the rules but some of the stuff that''s allowed on here makes a mockery of what gets deleted.
Perhaps I am simple old soul, but isnt the solution quite easy - refrain from personal attacks? After all this is a discussion board about NCFC. I sympthahise with Pete as he is really being given no other option given the rules of teh site, and I guess he will keep having to delete posts/threads until the penny drops. And no, I am not taking any sides, just requesting that we stop this board degenerating into the gutter.
15. According to the normally (fairly) reliable Guardian squad sheets, we are playing Fox at CB partmered by Tierney!!! However, this time, I assume they are mistaken. Interestingly, they are suggesting no wingers (Chris Martin and Surma instead of Bennett and Pilkington) http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/sep/09/norwich-west-bromwich-premier-league-squad-sheets
16. Good news for us as Cech is out for a month. Cue Hilario??   http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/aug/18/chelsea-goalkeeper-petr-cech-injury
17. Thanks for the fresh update Wharfside.   This still looks like a deadline day game of "who blinks first" to me.
18. Wharfiside,   Thanks for the update. Given that we have decided to sell, we need the biggest price and this is most likley to be achieved through an auction as clubs panic as the deadline approaches. Of the bigger clubs that have soem cash to spend, I guess that Cody is more likely to want to stay in teh South East, so both West Ham and the binners may be attractive to him - although I am not saying they are interested. All I am saying is that he doesnt necessarily have to sign for whoever gives us the best price and that his persoanl wishes will play a big part.
19. The Cody saga will be over soon as there are only three weeks left until deadline day. However, I accept, that your explantion of the delay is plausible.   Your originatinting post implied that you had connections at the Palace end of things, but as you are now saying that soemone bigger has come in, have you got this information from Palace too or from our end of things?
20. Both Lawrenson and Savage tipped the binners for promotiomn yesterday on Football Focus - lets hope that they mainatin their failn ratio with regards to predictions.
21.

Rumours initiated by brand new posters typically tend to resemble something that begins with ''b'' and ends in ''it'', particulary those that involve " I have a friend who....".
Ha ha everybody is a new poster to start with. Give it a couple of days to see if it happens before you shoot it down.
Ok - I have given it a couple of days and my initial judgement doesnt look wrong. What''s the latest then Wharfside?
22. What was so exciting about the barbecue last night that caused the thread to be pulled this morning???
23. It would have to be permanent as we already have our maximum loans. However, at least both are under 21 and so dont count towards the 25 man squad.
