1.
With didn''t know that Komakino. Shocking.
Moral is bad - So bad in fact that some of the employees want to the club to get relegated because the club is so mismanaged. There appears to be a cost cutting and restructure exercise going on.
2. Ironic that they club are making staff redundant as we speak, so why should they give a damn about sacking Neil too?
3. It is highly commendable that Davitt is allowed to write an article that is so accurate. I can never recall a time where ECN/Archant has been so critical and allowed to let their scribes to keep their integrity write the absolute truth to how they - and many others - see it. The complete anthesis of the Rick Waghorn era, but that''s another story for another time...
4. Norwich City is a club you can make a name for yourself if you have the talent and you will get a much easier ride if things don''t quite work out, as they have always been at best, a reactive board. If you''ve got talent and prepared to work with well meaning amateurs, then the club is for you. It''s a good gig, or at least should be.
5.
Clubs like Newcastle - money no object (most clubs are better placed financially, even taking into account parachute payments).Clubs on an upward spiral, like Brighton and Huddersfield.Clubs like Leeds, Derby, Reading all improving and real competition for promotion.Clubs like Sheff Wednesday, Birmingham and Fulham - all ambitious and capab;e of really good football.Clubs like Wolves, Aston Villa, yet to show full potential, but undoubtedly will over the rest of the season. Most of the rest - enough in them to cause teams at the top problems. Imo it is the most competitive league we''ve ever seen in terms of quality of opposition and the ability of any club to beat any other. It was tough last time we got out of the division, but this season is even tougher in terms of quality of opposition. It''s a battle and as a club we need to dig in and pull together, rather than fall apart. Can we do that? Or is there too much divisiveness at the club, between management/players/fans?
This shows how little you know about football. Anyone who played football at a reasonable level will tell you that The Championship is the poorest in quality for many, many years. It is there for the taking, not that Norwich City have any chance while AN is still here, coupled with the comedy board. To quote Robin Sainty ''The squad is rotten to the core''. Forget all about promotion, not that the club wanted it this season anyway.
6.
Got a feeling Alex will be sacked on Monday despite Delia and the rest saying they won''t ,seen it all before .
I wish. I just don''t feel they have the guts to do it. I hope Moxey has had someone earmarked for a while, but I can''t see it. The club never learns from its mistakes, but what would you expect from a bunch of amateurs?
7. Yes he ran out of road and the banks called the debt in. Great era that ended sour.
8.

We have a fantastic board, who are hurting just as much as us right now. Jez is a man of the peoloe, ask anyone within the club, from the canteen staff to the senior players. When he first came to the club he visited every department; he worked a morning in the kitchen at Delia''s, painted the lines of the technical areas with the ground staff and spent a whole day with the players at Colney, showering with them at the end of the session. This is a man who can put himself on a level with the common man as well as the elite... And people are calling for his head!? Insanity.
And after that he sacked half the staff
Moxey is not popular at CR or Colney. And yes, he is sacking staff.
9. Chase''s problem is that he didn''t adapt as the game and more importantly, money changed football. He was very much a man of his era, but despite his very obvious flaws, I pick him over the Stowmarket Two anyway.
10.
Many people use these forums to vent. It may not be objective but frustration rarely is. Of course the Board want the best for NCFC. It is not Chase era stuff.
Therein lies the problem. What the board ''want'' and the what the fans ''want'' are two different things. The whole situation is unsustainable as this season turns into a slow car crash. As for the Chase era, it was the best the club has ever had. Very different people, but the clubs overall record under Chase''s far far superior. That is fact.
11. I''ve got some very good sources at the club I was told just before the AGM that to ignore the ''Promotion, Promotion'' mantra that would be said as it is a PR exercise. The club have no intention of going up this year. I don''t think you will anyone who works there who will disagree (off the record of course).
12. As I''ve said before, the club does not want to go up this year. That is the main reason why AN he still here, which is very. very depressing. Moxey''s and Delia''s NCFC will be comfortable mediocrity. That''s the future.
13. He''s playing in cotton wool as he doesn''t want to get injured to scupper a move next month. He is exactly what this club does not need. Sell.
14.
December has been stop start. WLWL, red light green light, red light green light. It''s like we are are getting to one set of lights and going through them, only to be stopped by another set, then getting through them and being stopped by a further set. Its the same sort of caper at the city end of unthank road leading onto chapelfield roundabout. The last thing we need is to destabilise and get rid of Alex. I do however recognise that the team needs a lift - I would subcontract a motivational speaker for a month of team building - someone like Robert Kiyosaki - who''s nothing to do with football, just a balls out, high velocity motivator. Would likely be difficult to book him over Christmas mind.
Unbelievable. Then again, I''m not a happy clapper.
15. The club is falling apart. A failing manager, with a failing team, an utterly hopeless board, internally mismanaged with low staff moral and confidence. The club is rotten to the core.
16. With Naismith, Klose is the highest earner at Carrow Road and if he is unhappy, then there is no reason to keep him as long as a decent - and cheaper - replacement can be found. I think he is one of those player who just aren''t cut out for the two or three games a week schedule of this league - and he is not alone!
17.
You''re a f*cking idiot. Even by PinkUn standards, you''re a f*cking idiot.
Keep dreaming.
18. From what I''m hearing at the club, it will be turned into a Championship comfort zone. The club is not willing to ''do the necessary'' to fight for the PL due to the limited resources the club has available and as the club is ''not for sale'' it will be a comfortable Championship club. That''s not to say NCFC won''t go up, just that they won''t chase it, so it is highly unlikely.
19. Much will depend on who and how much they reinvest from the extremely likely sales of Olsson, Brady, Klose and possibly Naismith. However... Internally, Norwich do not expect promotion this year and I can see a net profit in the January window. The club are already making internal ''cost effective measures'' and restructuring, which I believe is a nod to their prolonged comfort zone of The Championship where they are likely to stay for some time. I don''t buy the ''Promotion, Promotion'' mantra at all. Pity.
20. Wynn-Jones is just a passenger. More interested in next glass of Red I should imagine, but he is a board member, so... :)
21.

As I have stated before, the club has not budgeted for and does not expect to get promoted this year, hence why AN is sticking around longer than necessary.
And as said before, based on all the available evidence, I very much doubt that is true. The available evidence, which all points the other way, being the projected loss for this season, which suggests we are still paying high (by Championship standards) wages and offering bonuses to try to ensure immediate promotion, the admission from the club that we really need to get back up this season or next (and this season is always likely to be the easier), and our summer transfer dealings, in which we comfortably spent more than we received.
Only quoting what several staff at Carrow Road/Colney told me three weeks ago. As for Lambert, the budget he had was the same as the season before and thought the club weren''t being serious as it claimed it was about being an established PL club. There are more anglo-saxon words to describe it. Biggest mistake this club has ever made in my opinion. Another point I would make is that I have never been entirely convinced that the club wants to be an established PL club. They just came over as being naive and make basic fundamental errors. If by some miracle we get to the PL again with this board, you will probably see the same mistakes being made again and again. Every fan deserves a run for his hard earned money, but you never quite get that feeling at Norwich City.
22. Interesting point. I think the fans have been VERY lenient at times, especially with the appointment of managers. Chase rightly got stick for ''Constructively'' forcing managers out (Walker, O''Neill), but Delia took the absolute urine with Lambert, which was an inspired signing amongst many, many poor decisions that her predecessor would of never got away with. I don''t personally think she would of got away with what she has at almost any opted club. She would of been forced out years before. Yes we were in League One, but who took us there? You make your own luck in this world, but I think she has underachieved with the club to be honest given the tools at her disposal.
23. I don''t dislike her personally, just professionally speaking regarding NCFC.
24.
Is it because she is a woman in a position of power, who probably knows as much as you about football, or even more?Is that it?
That''s a lamentable response. If she was a man, it would make no difference. If she really cared about the club, so would listen to offers instead of dismissing them. As a said before, I don''t understand the Delia love-in with some fans.
25. I''ve never been a fan of Delia or The board in general, regardless of what is - or isn''t - happening on the pitch. McNally gave them a bit of steel and wasn''t a Delia Cronie, but had too much to do. I don''t understand the fascination that some fans have with Delia. I was there on the infamous Man City game, which totally did any goodwill I had left for her. She''s just whinged it. Norwich has no real competition as such as Ipswich are well over 40 miles away and I think the fans are treated with contempt. I look at her record and Norwich have not been nowhere near as successful as her predecessor, flawed as he was. In short, Norwich have a well meaning, but lamentable board and as fans, we have to suffer the consequences and The Times article showed how out of their depth they really are.
