  1. I wouldnt be so sure about lack of funds for him to spend, i think if the right man is brought in, the team could be revitalised. Roeder had clearly lost the dressing room, some of those players should be performing much better. If they start to play then our fortunes will change
  2. 2 games into the season and everyones already on the teams back, thats the problem with a majority of Norwich fans, they think we should be better than what we are and that everything should just fall into place and click instantly. All this sack the board and saying we''re no better than when Grant was in charge is an absolute load of BS and not healthy. Give it time and you may get a pleasant suprise and we might start to play, scoring is the problem and we know Roeder is after a striker who may make a big difference in enabling us to stick it in the back of the net. 3. I reckon Big Ron would be the man...ever see his Sky one programme, he knocked Peterborough into shape and has the experience.
  4. Not quotes as such but still good all the same. Some Gordon Strachan interviews....   Reporter: Welcome to Southampton Football Club. Do you think you are the right man to turn things around? Strachan: No. I was asked if I thought I was the right man for the job and I said, "No, I think they should have got George Graham because I''m useless." Reporter: Is that your best start to a season? Strachan: Well I''ve still got a job so it''s far better than the Coventry one, that''s for sure. Reporter: Are you getting where you want to be with this team? Strachan: We''re not doing bad. What do you expect us to be like? We were eighth in the league last year, in the cup final and we got into Europe. I don''t know where you expect me to get to. Do you expect us to win the Champions League? Reporter: Gordon, you must be delighted with that result? Strachan: You''re spot on! You can read me like a book. Strachan: I''ve got more important things to think about. I''ve got a yogurt to finish by today, the expiry date is today. That can be my priority rather than Agustin Delgado. Reporter: This might sound like a daft question, but you''ll be happy to get your first win under your belt, won''t you? Strachan: You''re right. It is a daft question. I''m not even going to bother answering that one. It is a daft question, you''re spot on there. Reporter: Bang, there goes your unbeaten run. Can you take it? Strachan: No, I''m just going to crumble like a wreck. I''ll go home, become an alcoholic and maybe jump of a bridge. Umm, I think I can take it, yeah. Reporter: There''s no negative vibes or negative feelings here? Strachan: Apart from yourself, we''re all quite positive round here. I''m going to whack you over the head with a big stick, down negative man, down. Reporter: Where will Marion Pahars fit into the team line-up? Strachan: Not telling you! It''s a secret. Reporter: You don''t take losing lightly, do you Gordon? Strachan: I don''t take stupid comments lightly either. Reporter: So, Gordon, in what areas do you think Middlesbrough were better than you today? Strachan: What areas? Mainly that big green one out there...
  5. Was Huckerby''s booking not his 5th of the season? If so, he wont be playing
  6. Im sorry but i have to disagree with your comments about Gary Neville. Hes made 550 odd appearances for Man U and 84 for England, if hes such a bad player then how has he achieved that? Hes 31 and still he bombs down the touch line and delivers good consistent crosses.
  7. Nope, He was still injured. Its funny that when he left people slated him an said they never really rated him. But now it just shows how badly we''ve missed him. A quality goalkeeper who deserves to be playing in the premiership week in week out. Hopefully this Marshall should finally fill his boots.
  8. He was absolutely shocking today. Also noticed that he stormed off down the tunnel about 10 mins after being subed and barged into the stewards.... hopefully that''ll be the last time he leaves the pitch in a Norwich shirt.
  9. Thats because he was playing behind an utterly sh!te deffence. I doubt bloody Petr Cech would hav done much better.
  10. Heard from my Dad who has friends connected with the club. This is actually true an not just made up. Would hav been a good signing....
  11. The loan deal that fell through was for George McCartney from west ham. However... the arrival of Carlton Cole on loan is sed to be imminent.
  12.                                                  GREEN COLIN                    DOC                           SHACK                        DRURY MCVEIGH                SAFRI                      SPILLANE                    HUCKS                                    EARNIE                R. JARVIS This season is over we need to let the youngsters in and give them a go. They have to be given the oppurtunity to prove themselves. I would opt for colin at right back as i think that given the chance his confidence will build. Fleming is solid at the moment but lets face it he isnt going to be playing much longer. Ryan Jarvis has shown glimpses of what he is capable of but has never had the chance to build on it. Mcveigh is just class, he has vision and shouldnt just be a bench warmer. It would also be an idea to include Mckenzie. He could play as a right winger and mcveigh could move into the centre instead of spillane. He is a playmaker and with him and safri in the centre we would have the basis of a good midfield.
  13. If they are calling worthy outers the ''hooligan minority'', maybe they werent listening at the crystal palace game. I dont think one person wasn''t chanting. The board needs to get a grip before the fans start to desert and it hits them where it hurts, the bank balance.
  14. He has to go. He has the players but he is clueless of how and what to do with them. Why does he pick Peter Thorne ahead of Mckenzie who came on and looked much more of a threat. Why does Paul Mcveigh not play? He came on and looked composed, he made passes, went on runs. It really isnt acceptable. I went up there spent well over 40 quid on the day and i may as well have chucked it down the drain. At the end of the day something has to be done. We need somebody with vision and someone who is tactically minded to lead us back to the top flight. Forget about this season, lets get someone in give him the rest of the season to look at what hes got and then next season really attack it. This season is over so why not give ryan and rossi jarvis a go and the other youngsters, what have we got to loose?
