1.
I feel sick, I am beside myself I cannot think of anything other than next Sunday. Somebody HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please
It might be the early stages of Yellow Fever.
2. Hi Drew you seem to have made quite an impact for your first post. Second one was nice and the explaination was also understandable. I actually agree with your discuss at the booing fans and can''t understand the mentallity. ( although I do sit amongs them.) Welcome to the board and I''ll look out for more of your posts.
3. We also queued to see Ashton etc but due to people having photo''s taken we never got to see him- unless you call leaving the car park a sighting
4. Andrwe welcome to the message board and as a Virgin poster I will keep this friendly. Your opinion is exactly why this board is here and I''m sure the sentiment of your post is with good intent. I too was very annoyed at the responce to the Holt substitution - especially as Safri was injured- but to call fellow supporter S**m is bang out of order. so look forward to seeing your second post being an apology to all N & P fans. The booing seemed to actually start from the city stand? but unfortunately was not isolated in any particular area. As I said to start with welcome to the board.
5. I am sure the result from yesterday was the cause of this post. Can I suggest that you take more water with it next week when survival is completed.
6.
Typically though, the ''Old Boys'' routine came into plat at Old Trafford. Fancy dropping Rooney & Scholes and replacing them with Neville & Kleberson!! Thanks very bloody much Fergie!! I have...
Yeah and the palarse fans were cheering last week no doubt. so sleep well my friend.
7. My son has just come back from York and the talk in the local papers are that Liam Miller (ex Celtic now Manure) will be joining us on loan for next season.
8. From all account Pennant and Melchiot have been the driving force behind Brum this last few games. If we can out battle them on that side then we will win. If they do us............It''s Hull and burnley next year! So do we let Hux worry them going forward or let them worry us by defending. in honesty i don''t know the best option.
9. On the radio today it has been continually stated that the atmosphere at anfield unsettled Chelsea and gain the advantage for their team. On Saturday we have one last chance at home this season need I say more. We have been congratulated throughout the year on saturday let''s show them why. O.T.B.C
10. I think that it will be a leisurely 3-0 we will be 2 up at half time and see out a cool 2nd half...Yeah right whatever happens it will keep us on the edge of our seat ''til the final minutes - it always does. Oh how i dream of mid-table obscurirty!!
11.
Its a real shame, he just looked out of his depth at this level. Another player who moves on with no money coming into the club though.
No transfer fee but a reduced wage bill.
12. As we certain to take the full allocation how about making a theme for the Y''army. can you imagine 30 odd coaches with supporters in the same theme, either something simple like Scarfs - didi you see the Kop last night. Or something a little more bizarre. Ideas here please.
13. 3 days and 2 games have passed since I posted this, the results haven''t been bad for us. So let''s make hay whilst the sun shines. Southampton must beat us imo to have any chance. So they will pump the ball forward to Crouch and feed off him. If shackle and Flem can handle this I see no reason to doubt the ability of our strikers to score past the saints defence. I have changed my mind now from this being a must not loose to a must win. then another home win and maybe we could enjoy a worry free last game folled by a huge celebration at FCR for Alex Notmans benefit game.
14. I sit on the other side of the N & P (tunnell side) and I could definately hear the noise from the infil boys. As for a name what about the Dragons den. ( i saw some of the ladies coming out!!!!!)
15. For the Worthy out brigade, over the last 2 games NW has made 2 game changing substitutions. Vs Newcastle Huckerby off Jonsson on - result Carr no longer a threat going forward resulting on Milner being uneffective. and a 2-1 win Vs Charlton Off with Bently on with Svensson need we say more?? Any of you changed your mind?
16. After our last few results and the pending saints v Pompey result. Is next Saturdays game a must win or a must not loose game?
17. Oh s**t - down bottom by 4 points. and I thought I was an optimist? Come on boys prove me wrong.
18.
I meant to post this yesterday. Palce ref is Mike (I didn''t see it) Rilley. I wouldn''t put this bloke in charge of an under 11 match!. Andy Johnson will have a field day diving all over the park, a...
Spot on with the diving!!!! we was robbed. And Styles bought it.
19. Bayern just equalised, wouldn''t it be nice to finish as the only team.....
20.
Me - I go to be entertained, I would like to see locally produced talent who are as committed to the club as everybody who visits this site ( regularly)who can compete at a premiership level. I for on...
Opps that should read would not like to be a Man Utd( especially tonight) or chelsea fan
21. What a great chant, so easy- sorry no pun intended- even the Jarrold and N & P knew what to do. Well done to everybody tonight - great atmosphere! Wish we could play them every week!
22. Go on let''s try - i know that one swallow doesn''t make a spring but.....even the doom brigade will be smiling tonight surely?
23.
Since my thread on the hopes and aspirations for the season didn''t quite get the feedback for some of the more polarised noters on this board, let''s try a different tack. Ultimately where do you want...
Me - I go to be entertained, I would like to see locally produced talent who are as committed to the club as everybody who visits this site ( regularly)who can compete at a premiership level. I for one would like to be a Man Utd or Chelsea fan who can buy the best but haven''t produced many good players for a while. I hate to say this but the players coming through the ranks down the road are proving themselves through learning good habits from an early age and they will create a good young side. - we need to bring through more Shackells as we will are a long way away from competing with the Bolton,Charltons etc. Best years for me were the Fox, Sutton, Eadie, Ulathorne,Belamy etc years
24.
there is no way... green is up for a corner in the dying seconds of our last game, we must win to stay up..... its 2-2, ball come in headed away, green controls and runs towards box.......... gets br...
Goalkeepers taking penalties is actually a good practice, as they are likely to practice kicking a still ball more than most otehr players. - Only problem is if they don''t score then they need to get back pretty quick. Simple solution if a player is proven to have dived to gain an advantage (post match) then give him a retrospective yellow card. Then impose the current suspension rules. -Except keep these cards valid for length of the season. This would put the emphasis on the clubs and management to prevent losing there "influential Players" during the season. It would also single out the induvidual.
25. I have been watch J.S in the reserves this year and earlier on this season I thought he looked ordinary. Since he came into the the team despite a very nervous 1st half against Man. City he has settled in very well, maybe he rises to a callenge?
