  1. Seems like @Branston Pickle is the only one that didn’t see Meslier playing poorly first half and Norwich failing to apply more pressure to him as the game went on.
  2. Depends what’s offered. And if they want that move.
  3. Overall, yes, he has proved me wrong in the last six months. But even during those six months there’s been times when he’s got the subs and tactics wrong, of course. Did I think we’d be in the play offs from the position we were in? no. Did you? I think you’d be lying if you said you did. You of course rated him more than I did and for that you’ve been proved right to have. But even so - I still believe his approach is sometimes too limiting. It was a hot day, we played at a decent tempo for the first 15-20. But after that it all became very pedestrian. Whilst Leeds have more depth than us and options we’d love like James and Piroe off the bench, I still think they looked beatable today. And I think we could have done with a higher tempo at times. I’d expect the manager to impress that upon the players. He didn’t. But it’s still all to play for. But it won’t be if we play like that on Thursday. We will have to play with better countering tempo.
  4. A draw away is a better result in the first leg for them than us. They’ll have home advantage and will look to be out of sight by half time. I’d be hugely surprised if it goes to pens.
  5. My bet is on those two scumbags not having attended the game, not city fans, but turned up after for some aggro due to historic issues with Leeds and have now given the club a bad name. But who knows.
  6. Question perhaps needs to be asked however that if Wagner rates SVH so little, why has he not given Aboh more of a go.
  7. It demonstrated that when put under pressure he was error prone. Byram also vulnerable. Sainz was getting a degree of change down that wing. In general terms we reverted to playing within ourselves. I hope that won’t be the case on Thursday.
  8. Their keeper had a mare with his feet in the first 20 or so - when put under pressure by pressing. Something we stopped doing, as we sat off instead the next hour.
  9. The wrong tactics for 2/3rds of that game. Leeds looked wobbly at the back. The keeper was having a mare. So we decided to ease off and let them run the game. Exactly why I want Wagner gone this summer. Hopefully on Thursday night he shows why I’m wrong
  10. We’d have more chance beating Southampton than Brom, IMO. And I say that on the basis that tactically in a final we to toe to toe all out vs Saints.
  11. It’s a bad result in the context of how we’ve played away most of this season. And how Wagner sets us up away. IE today, bar the first 15mins.
  12. Agreed. He’ll have aimed at a draw and then put it to bed on Thursday. But Leeds only looked comfortable as we sat so far off them at times and had hardly any tempo or counter (bar first 15). They were there to be beaten
  13. If we are going to sit off, as we’ve done for the last hour, on Thursday - then we need to be far more willing and better at countering them at speed. Leeds will have much more about them at home.
  14. It’s these kind of tactics why many fans think he’s reached the limit of his ability. But we shall see on Thursday
  15. Can’t help but feel we’ll lose this semi with having hardly had a go. Unless he’s saving that go for the away leg.
  16. Yeah it’s far too ‘Wagner’. Sitting off. Soaking it up. But hardly countering them. Disappointing
