  1. As long as they are rattan lobster pots made by Lulu Lytle and paid for by Lord Brownlow Carrie won't mind.
  2. Time for him to move in with Jool's and share a cell with him in the nursing home ( before he shares a cell in NY state Sing Sing).
  3. Would that be the wife of the ex-president sentenced to three years in prison for corruption? Perhaps she can share a flat with Carrie when their partners enjoy some extended time away (perhaps Carla should choose the furniture this time, as their "hubbies" won't generate very much income from sewing mail bags).
  4. A perfect metaphor for the nature and quality of your posts.
  5. So, since you think the "green bit" is such amazing news do tell us which ones of the 67 deals are simply roll-overs of the deals we already had as members of the EU. And of the rest, which ones are like the Japanese deal which by far benefits the Japanese, or the Australian deal which benefits the Australians by £4bn compared to our hopeful £900m (and ensures a massive trade deficit with Australia). Each deal proves more and more what a pathetically weak trading position the UK now finds itself in. Every country in the world knows the UK is desperate to do hasty trade deals in order to distract from the disastrous effects of brexit, so like the Japanese and Australians they will exploit this advantage at our cost. The only "certainty" that British beef farmers are aware of is that they can't sell their beef to the EU, and their UK market is almost certainly to be swamped by cheap hormone fed Australian crap. The only "certainty" faced by the dairy industry is that they have lost £1.1bn since January with a drop of 96% in their sales to the EU. The only certainty faced by fishermen is that they can't sell their produce to the EU and can longer fish in Norwegian waters. The only "certainty" faced by the Road Haulliers Association is that its members face a drastic shortage of drivers now that brexit prevents the employment of EU citizens. The only "certainty" faced by SMEs is that the onerous abundance and costs of the huge increase in bureaucracy and paperwork will only get worse as the full regulations of brexit come into force in the near future. I could go on, but we all know that you are incapable of providing a single actual example of the putative "benefits" of brexit. Like a good little Tory sycophant all you can do is post this fantasy waffle from the demented Liz Truss. As the saying goes, "Fine words butter no parsnips" (At least we can grow parsnips in our own gardens even if it turns out that farmers can't get the staff to dig them out of the fields, or the drivers to take them to market. Let's just hope enough dairies survive to produce the butter).
  6. What f*cking abuse you moron!!! BTW, could you make that Monday 3rd May 2049
  7. While Biden gets on with a genuine plan for massive infrastructure investment that will benefit the lives of millions of ordinary Americans, let's take a look at an example of diddling Donald's alternative approach. This is the story of the FoxConn con:
  8. It was hilarious, but also seriously embarrassing to hear such stupidity pour out in a local accent that will only serve to confirm the "yokel" prejudices of many people. I loved the way O'Brien ridiculed her by playing back her own promises to the fishing industry that brexit would be their salvation. She is now to be known as Loon Flummery. While we're talking about fishing, has any one else noted that since brexit happened all the RWNJs on this site who couldn't stop talking about fishing before January, have all suddenly gone very quiet on the subject? It's almost as if they are pretending that the fishing industry doesn't exist. Which is very precient of them because thanks to brexit it soon won't.
  9. As members of the EU the UK's fishermen had access to Norwegian waters. No longer the case thanks to brexit. So, not only are our fisherman unable to sell what they catch to europe, they now have significantly less water to fish in. In particular they won't be able to catch the cod that forms the staple of our favourite fast food. Good news for the Norwegian fishermen of course who will be able to ramp up the price for their exported cod. I suppose we could all start eating mackerel and chips instead.
  10. Apart from the fact that this is an obvious lie (https://www.thegrocer.co.uk/grocer-price-index/supermarket-prices-rise-as-covid-and-brexit-reignite-inflation/652172.article), it's a bit unfortunate for you that the chief executive of the Road Haulage Association has been on LBC this morning blaming brexit for a serious shortfall in lorry drivers (no more hard working EU drivers being recruited). If I was you bird-brain, I would get back to Sainbury's pronto and stock up on your pot noodles before they become scarce or unavailable. More price rises on the way soon as we all have to fork out for the brexit disaster.
  11. I think this is a proper reflection of the new pension fund owner's interests, and the team's capabilities:
  12. Spot on C! And let's not forget this is not some "banter" between mates in a pub; this is a workplace environment. Anyone making such comments to a colleague should expect a written warning, if not instant dismissal.
  13. All this does is prove you're a utter buffoon
  14. Pathetic way to get yourself suspended from duty. Doesn't say much for the IQ of this particular buffoon.
  15. I've just quoted you the views of the representatives of two major industries representing thousands of business owners and workers, whose livlihoods are being decimated by the consequences of brexit, and this is all you can come up with. These are the views of thousands of people, many of whom who had originally voted for brexit and now feel cheated. These are REAL people who are truly worried that they will lose their businesses and jobs because of the effects of brexit. Don't think we havent noticed that you have not said a word in response to the disasters happening in the dairy and fishing industries explained in the reports I quoted. And you wonder why you get treated with such derision. Jesus!
  16. Spot on! It doesn't help when the training they do get is provided by someone like this: https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/police-training-event-cancelled-after-video-emerges-of-speaker-talking-about-great-post-kill-sex/ar-BB1g9ijR?ocid=msedgdhp Truly abhorent.
  17. And here you go again, quoting another pathetic RWNJ who hates the EU. Utterly irrelevant. Much more relevant is an opinion poll of the Dutch public which shows it 3:1 AGAINST withdrawal from the EU: "Dutch withdrawal from the European Union (colloquially "Nexit", a portmanteau of "Netherlands" and "exit") refers to the hypothesis that the Netherlands might withdraw from the European Union.[1] The most recent opinion poll on the subject, in June 2020, showed a 3:1 majority against withdrawal." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_withdrawal_from_the_European_Union
  18. Proof of your remarkable levels of ignorance regarding the catastrophic damage brexit has visited. Earlier I posted a report from the Food and Drink Federation that showed Brexit has cost the dairy industry £1.1bn since January, with exports to the EU down by 96%. It's very noticeable that you didn't make any response to that post, obviously because you don't want to admit that it is a disaster. Today we have another report from the fishing industry: https://www.msn.com/en-gb/money/other/uk-fishing-farce-jobs-and-factories-could-move-to-eu-after-dog-s-breakfast-deal-paper/ar-BB1gb17n?ocid=msedgdhp UK fishing farce: Jobs and factories could move to EU after 'dog's breakfast' deal And the Shellfish Association of Great Britain (SAGB) has highlighted systematic failures by the Department for Environment, Fisheries and Rural Affairs (Defra), which it says has left it struggling with the post-Brexit reality. In the report 'Seafood and Meat Exports to the EU', which has been published today, the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (EFRA) Committee highlights urgent concerns for exporters of highly time-sensitive fresh and live seafood and meat shipments to the EU, especially small- and medium-sized businesses. The committee warns new barriers which small seafood and meat export businesses face could render them unviable, and factories and jobs may relocate to the EU. Mr Percy, chairman of the New Under Ten Fishermen's Association (NUFTA), told Express.co.uk: "'Dog's breakfast' sums it up really. "The whole EU Exit with regard to fisheries has been a complete debacle from beginning to end. So, should we believe you that everything is wonderful with Brexit, or the people actually involved in these industries who believe it has been a "debacle from beginning to end"? Do tell us what sort of patriot is happy to see the UK fishing industry relocate to the EU in order to avoid its collapse. As for your absurd claim that this is all the EU's fault; have you not grasped yet that this is the brexit deal that the UK government freely negotiated and freely signed up to? Do you not understand that the set of regulations now being applied is precisely what constitutes brexit? (and bear in mind that the full regulations are yet to come into force, so things are soon to get a lot worse).
  19. You've changed your story then. Can't say I'm surprised. Perhaps you can finally answer the question about why you are such an avid supporter of the UK joining the CPTPP when your hero Nige thinks it would be a disaster.
  20. I expect many of us would happily carry their bags to the airport
  21. That wouldn't be the same "razor sharp" Andrew Bridgen who made a complete ar*se of himself complaining about the Electoral Commission's inquiry into Preeti Patel would it? An inquiry they DIDN'T actually conduct. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/money/other/moderna-aims-to-produce-3-billion-covid-vaccine-doses-in-2022/vi-BB1gbx7H?ocid=msedgntp
  22. Keep it up! I remember all your "Sleepy Joe" jibes, and your claims that Biden didn't stand a chance against the "charismatic" Trump. That went well didn't it???
  23. Wow! The Mafia could learn a thing or two from this sleaze bag government.
