While you have your dictionary out you will see that a catalyst is a person or thing that precipitates (hasten the occurence of) a change. If you haven''t noticed a change at Norwich then listen to the comments of players like Huckerby. Now, Hunter didn''t sign himself so some other people clearly made decisions there and so far have been proven to have acted in the best interests of the Club and it''s supporters. Were they unaffected by the atmosphere and a decline in season ticket sales/waiting lists? Did senior players have an input? I cannot believe none of these well publicised factors had no effect.

I don''t believe Norwich will fail to attract offers for Earnie before the end of next week. Some Prem sides are panicking i.e. Newcastle while others, like Blackburn need a goal scorer. Perhaps this fear is the real reason Mckenzie has been refused a move. In retrospect a goalscorer of Earnies calibre for 2.75 million was simply too good to turn down. It seems that a number of Worthy''s purchases are now justifying themselves and Earnie cannot have failed to impress premiership clubs with his goals to games ratio. Someone will surely take a punt on him....I expect Norwich to decline and I hope Earnie is not unsettled like Ashton was.
