  1. Blah, I am afraid you continue to miss the point and as Nigel Worthington''s biggest supporter I would have thought arrogance ticked all your boxes. Of course there are a number of reasons for the improvements but to simplify it for you think of Hunter as the missing piece of the jigsaw.
  2. Just persuaded Mrs. Rod to pose for my Avatar and she is happy to show her face. Come on chaps, why let Mrs. Marty steal all the limelight?
  3. I''ll take the pinstripe one with the grey top. Sorry Madam, that''s the new Nigel Worthington.
  4. Now, that''s what I''d call a catalyst (no Ralph it''s got nothing to do with car exhausts).
  5. ''I''ll take the tartan one up there, please.'' ''Sorry Madam, that''s my thermos!''
  6. BTW the Holy Trinity was a divine figurehead in three personas and not three seperate entities (I am happy for the good Vicar to correct me). If you are going to quote the media Wiz perhaps you should question their accuracy first.
  7. What, no reply Ralph? Are you doing a Leon?
  8. Worthy may well be a God....they all get ressurected at some stage.
  9. Dave, why not send your Dad''s story to the Club. When the Barry Butler memorial trophy is presented they might just invite your Dad along. It would be a nice gesture.
  10. Don''t know how you can be so confident, Marty. Have you any experience in keeping hold of top assets?
  11. Does anyone remember the banana splits? Can anyone name them? And does Kathy fly solo?
  12. You get a warm and comfortable feeling when you wet the bed but it doesn''t necessarily last. Nigel needs the electric blanket of a larger squad.
  13. Even Stevie Smith failed with this name IMO. ''Aloft, in a loft, sits Croft, he is soft.'' Ur!
  14. Once again he is unsung because nothing much rhymes with Colin and Jurgen is hardly any easier to match.
  15. Is this another attempt to get in early? What are your predictions for season 2007/8 when Capricorn will feature highly in Jupiters autumnal equinox rising?
  16. Sorry to use less common diction and analogy Ralph but you appear to have gone off on a tangent. Talk about putting words into someone''s mouth. While you have your dictionary out you will see that a catalyst is a person or thing that precipitates (hasten the occurence of) a change. If you haven''t noticed a change at Norwich then listen to the comments of players like Huckerby. Now, Hunter didn''t sign himself so some other people clearly made decisions there and so far have been proven to have acted in the best interests of the Club and it''s supporters. Were they unaffected by the atmosphere and a decline in season ticket sales/waiting lists? Did senior players have an input? I cannot believe none of these well publicised factors had no effect.
  17. Blah, do you not ask yourself why Norwich have changed their style back to a pleasing passing game? Don''t you ever contemplate why something might have changed? Try reading my original post again, particularly the first sentence. It was an open question and this is a discussion board. This was not a negative post although I suspect you thought it tried to steal some credit from your beloved Nigel. Well, well done Nigel for listening and changing and bringing in the staff to do so...satisfied?
  18. Ask yourselves who else is around who can score goals like Earnie and look at the sort of money paid out for the likes of Jason Roberts and Emile Heskey. As for you Wiz we all know you posted this before but as usual it was a piece of doom laden melodrama as opposed to a valid question based upon plausible circumstances and that is the difference.
  19. Can anyone supply a ''One for the Ladies'' section to keep Jayne and the other females happy?
  20. I don''t believe Norwich will fail to attract offers for Earnie before the end of next week. Some Prem sides are panicking i.e. Newcastle while others, like Blackburn need a goal scorer. Perhaps this fear is the real reason Mckenzie has been refused a move. In retrospect a goalscorer of Earnies calibre for 2.75 million was simply too good to turn down. It seems that a number of Worthy''s purchases are now justifying themselves and Earnie cannot have failed to impress premiership clubs with his goals to games ratio. Someone will surely take a punt on him....I expect Norwich to decline and I hope Earnie is not unsettled like Ashton was.
  21. Now we seem to have a ''readers wives'' section I am buying myself a digital camera and buying Mrs. Rod a gym membership......stand by.
  22. No, Hunter should not be the manager. It is horses for courses.
