1. I really don''t know what to say. I know the team has been poor for a long while now, and that it appears that Worthy could have done more, but would sacking him really help? Firstly who would you replace him with? There are only three managers who I would consider to have proven credidials, Strachan (who I doubt would come here), Mr potato head himself, and a certain Derby manager. In worthy we have got a manager who has built a team (with a bit of crap) from nothing, and won us the league. Realistically we aren''t going to stay up, even if we get a new manager because we simply aren''t good enough. Remember West Brom are recent ex-prem so have had greater financial backing, and Palace have simply been lucky they have a striker who has scored loads of goals for them, without him they would be below us, easily! All I will say is give Worthy one more season and see where we are. It''s been a long, hard, and frustrating season, next year we will be back in the fizzy and with a few signings will be in a strong position to bounce back and we will all have smiles on our faces again! Also, I remember a TV critic saying at the beginning of the season how great the Norwich fans but how he bet we wouldn''t be by the end of the season, lets not prove them right, lets all just have some fun and enjoy the rest of the season (before we are back in the fizzy).
2. Did anyone else find it ironic that Docherty was named player of the month before the Chelsea game
3. Worthy will keep him in the team for a while now. He said on the radio he was his man of the match.
4.
Can''t he afford a taxi?.......
That''s something I also wonder. If I was earning £4000 a week (or whatever) I wouldn''t give a **** about spending £100 on a taxi. In my case I don''t earn £4000 a week so I have to sleep on the floor (or sometimes in a bed ). Just shows how stupid some football players are!
5. The names have links using java script by the looks of it, probably java script has been disabled in IE (is that what you are using?). Check under the security settings. Alternatively you could just download Firefox and use that as you browser from now on. Much better than IE!
6. Green 5 - maybe we will be able to keep him for next season!!! Edworthy 6 - as normal Shackell 6 - solid but not overally noticable, should be kept for next game though Fleming 5 - was he playing - average Drury 7 - did good, not quite the liability he has been in other games Jonson 6 - still like him, works hard and winds up the opposition - stupid tackles though - cost us the game? Holt 6 - got stuck in, although didn''t make a huge impact Francis 7 - didn''t think he did as bad as some people think, not up to usual standard though Stuart 5 - poor gave the ball away on a number of occassions McKenzie 7 - usual McKenzie - I couldn''t believe it when he scored that 1-on-1! Ashton 9/10 - Oh please lets hope no other managers were watching this game.
7.
I''m almost speechless!. Heartless and selfish responses (except DD) from looser posters, especially Campbell, who always disagrees with anything I suggest, on general principle it would seem. Info f...
I hope you are joking! If not I''m glad we don''t have people like you running this club. Maybe we should bring Eadie back in on the wing as well? I know he can''t really play, but hey, we all used to like him. I think the reason most people diagree with you is because you are wrong, not because there is some kind of vendetta against you, however calling people who diagreee with you as ''losers'' is going to help your case.
8.
Slagging off players from your own or any other team is one of football''s time-honoured traditions. Long may it continue. Henderson''s an easy target as he''s not really very good, looks like he''d be bl...
You should also add that he also looks like Spencer Moon off Eastenders!
9. The club isn''t a charity. ** IF ** we go down this season, do we really want to be paying out wages for a coach that we don''t need? If we need a new coach I would rather the club went out and got a proven one which is going to help us.
10. Well if you will let Ken Bates in charge of money It does iritate me though that the FA/Others in charge of the project have managed to mess things up so much. Any other country would have had the stadium built by now, plus it would have cost half as much. Oh well, it better be a damn good stadium.
11.
What a load of old bull , please post something worthwhile .
Is this board full of men in oranges coats? People are allowed to talk about whatever they want. Every other post now seems to have some idiot posting on them comment along the lines of ''please think of something better to post!''. Arrgghhhh, its all fun and games, what harm is it doing? Are you afraid Drury is going to read this and be upset? Oh and by the way, the Mulryne pie incident is untrue. He has never rejected a pie and I can''t see it happening in the future either!
12.
what happened with this? There was supposed to be a norwich v ipswich match for alex notman due to his career being cut short. Web team, can you help?
I thought I remember seeing a report saying both Norwich and Ipswich agreed it would be a bad idea so decided not to do it. I may be wrong, but I haven''t about any alternatives.
13. GREENEDWORTHY HELVEG FLEMING CHARLTONJONSON FRANCIS HOLT HUCKERBY ASHTON SVENSSONWouldn''t mind NW trying McKenzie on the right either, would be interested to see how he does there.
14.
you''re making very little sense in your post. OK so most people don''t want to listen to the local reports and turn the radio over, that''s their choice. It doesn''t therefore mean that no-one wants to l...
Well this must be something of interest otherwise you wouldn''t be posting! As to your argument that we should only cater the masses, that isn''t what I am saying, initially my post was does anybody care (we a little bit of my opinion on the matter). As to your ''cater for the masses'' comment, I''m not saying that these clubs shouldn''t have some air-time, I am of the same opinion as shortfatb that they should be given their own time slot, just like having their own programme Surely this would be for the best?
15. OK, maybe I should respond to some of the responses..."If you dont care to listen to them turn of your radio set and think for a minute of something interesting to post on this website." => Well I do turn it off, I put Talk Sport on which has something decent to discuss, better that then some boring match report from ''The Walks''"are you some kind of troll?" => Not that I am aware of"its rather stupid of you to suggest that nobody cares" => I didn''t I said DOES anybody care?"Maybe you should be a little less selfish!" => maybe but I am sure I am not the only one who turns off Radion Norfolk when these reports are given, I am sure their ratings must plummet when these come on.
16. Is it just me or are those reports after the game on Radio Norfolk so dull. Does anybody actually care how these teams got on? Is there some sort of legal requirement that requires Radio Norfolk to get some nearly dead bloke to give us a run down on the game using their best mono-tone voice?Sorry but they iritate me so much, I want to hear about Norwich after the game, not some minor league match who only get attendances reaching the early 50.End of rant, although would be interested in people opinion. Oh and bonus points to the first person to mention the answer is in the title, I know it is called Radio NORFOLK!
