Mahomes has been unbelievable, but an odd feeling that the 49ers defense slows them down and their offense surprise a few people and put up some points. I also still think Norwich escape, so take my thoughts for what you will.

The game should be good. But the event of "The Superbowl" is nothing but a money grab for the NFL, sponsors etc. I've seen zero game analysis for the last 4 hours.

A regular Sunday sure, burgers and hotdogs work. But for the Superbowl I see more barbeque, nachos, assortments of dips, guac, salsa, finger food sandwiches etc. With a few beers too. I'll try to enjoy. OTBC. 6 more wins and 2 draws; as good as done.

Just to clarify, I'm talking about the U.S. coverage.

The game should be good, but the build up to it is never ending and the talking heads on TV provide next to zero insight into the teams. It's mostly lines such as, "Whoever wants it more is going to win tonight" type of speech.

Newcastle are top 10 in the league and we were away. We have 6 games remaining from bottom 10 clubs. I'd say those better opportunities, no?

Wolves, Sheffield and Watford are all winnable. Not saying we'll grab nine points, but six is certainly possible. We're playing good football right now. Again, not saying we're as good as up, but I don't believe this team is going to quit fighting.

I'm nowhere near a down as some seem to be after this game. Newcastle were not good, but they often played will all 11 behind the ball. It was always going to be tough to break that and put one away. A few chances for Pukki where you would like to one in the net, but nothing that you say he must score that. They let us control the game and played a solidly frustrating style today. A point is a fine result with lots of games still to come. Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City are the only games where I can't see us grabbing points. Every other game there are 3 for the taking. Our form has been good as of late, were not getting rolled over by other teams, and if anything we look to be the better side on the pitch. Many of our remaining games are against those around us with multiple "six-pointers" to come. Definitely not done yet.

3 points is almost, just almost, a must against Newcastle this week. If we pull out a win away at St. James', which the odds are against us, what other results would you hope for those around us? We'll need at least 41 points to stay up? Do you think this because the top of the league isn't grabbing as many points from the rest of the bottom dwellers this year? I still believe that 38 will be the magic number, time will tell though.

Färhmann deserves a mention. Probably won't start, but deserves a look. If cantwell and Emi are healthy, they're in. Would like to see Vrancic alongside Tettey as well.

He was very good today, and spot on regarding crosses. But it's very frustrating to watch every game and have it so obvious to every announcer that we're dreadful while defending corners and set pieces. If everyone can see it, why no change? The announcer even pointed out the size we had in the side today, and yet there are unmarked and free attempts in the box. I know it's beating a dead horse, but my blood pressure shouldn't be that high during a set piece from 40 yards out. On to Newcastle and 3 much needed points.
